Just started our own electronic music label and need help!!

Hi Guys!

After two years of hard work and making connections with artists all over the world we decided to start our own record label. Yesterday we released our first house track which was very nice. But we still don't have a lot of followers and of course the sales aren't as good as we hoped. I really want to make a huge sprint with my record label in a short amount of time. Everybody says that our label is unique and has a lot of potential but we're stuck with getting followers and popularity. I honestly believe our tracks and way of working with artists is unique. And this is the part i really need your help guys. White hat or black hat it doesn't matter for me, i need to gain popularity fast.

I really hope you guys can help me out!

Social media Mass MARKETING (aka spamming with a purpose) would be your best best as far as blackhat. This means creating and automating (with bots) hundreds/thousands of profiles in each social media platform. This can take a month or more to build up, but if done right, and if your music is worth listening to, can have a huge impact on promotion.
 
Facebook is very helpful with brand marketing, you can create facebook ads campaign targeting

first people in your city
People on you school
friends of your friends (who already like your page)
Genre of music
famous artist of the genre

the approaches you can create are countless
follow some faacebook pages about the same subject and learn how they do they marketing

Youtube videos are something you could take advantage aswell
 
Upload music on youtube, start commenting other youtube electronic channels, so you can get your brand out there. Such as Proximity, Monstercat ect ect I'm sure you know them. Make a twitter account and start following big electronic artists out there (their followers of course) And doesn't hurt to include favoriting as well. You can find a twitter favorite imacros script here on BHW. Just input "dubstep" and it'll favorite tweets that has the word dubstep. When people's tweet are favorited by an account their curiosity will get to them and they'll check out your twitter account

What kind of music are you releasing? Only house or other genres also?

Would love to know the name of your lable. :)

Hahaha, i totally agree, but spinnin did it very smart because they are almost the biggest label in the world, and i'm trying to figure out how they did it. We release house music for now but we're going into the deep house and other genres too :)

Well they're mostly releasing Big Room House, which (I have no idea why, it's so unoriginal) is pretty popular right now. Hopefully the trend will change soon :)

I totally agree with you, and we do make the best music, but we need exposure! How do i dm you?
 
Maybe if you ask big dj radio to play some of your tracks from your label on radio ? The second one is, give dj to play your track. Then ask him to record this moment when it plays your track. Then ask him to upload it to his channel with tittle.
Or ask some dj e-shop with music like beatport to feature this track on weekly rotate or ask dj to put your track in list on beatport. Thats my 5 cent.

I love music, I'd love to become a music producer, it's my dream. :)
 
What distributor or aggregator do you use to get your music out on the digital stores?
 
Get yourself connected to the electronic community and spread from within, shoo post a link of a song on youtube and i'd check it out.
