Interested to learn more about your operation.
- Did you hire them all separately?
- Do they collaborate or do you middleman it all?
- Can you give us a breakout of the $65 I believe you spend per video relative to these positions?
- Any advice for a proper hire? I got fooled by 3 web devs in 2022 but 4th was the charm and think I know a little better with each failure. If not advice for good hires, how about advice for bad? I’m particularly interested in the video editor.

Following along this thread. I have a long form content idea I’m dreaming up but with have lots of addictive content to cut up for shorts and drive audiences to my channel.

Yes, separately. No middleman I am speaking with them. Yep, like 30$ only for Video Editor. Put them to make samples for you before buying :).

I upload shorts + long-form on one channel, sometimes I put in the short comments the full video link (pinned)
 
Update #6 -> I did something wrong, we fail, we learn, but we NEVER stop!

This video performed not so well but was still OK since my channel is new, it got only 1.6k views and a bad CTR % because I tried something else in the thumbnail, and now I have figured out my thumbnail style works the best.

In just a few words: I tried to copy my competitor's thumbnail and re-create it in my style, but it didn't work that well like my previous designs.

So we learned that our style is good and can be much better!

That's how you get EXPERIENCE in this business!



CURRENT STATS:

~ 350 SUBS
~ 3.5K WATCH TIME
~ 200K VIEWS (shorts + long videos)

REVEALED: MY SEPTEMBER SHORT STATISTICS:

Note that I started on the 21st of September, and the time frame is for..... 9 days only... :)

So, the results are OK for this type of niche, the next month was much BIGGER. (October)

Hi, just want to share, im running my own yt shorts channel too, but get depressed about the monetization requirement 10m views, and after checking with another friends their RPM is only around 0.0096$
 
Congrats on your journey, i started my first youtube channel last week too. I have 6 -10 minute video and 6 shorts video. But i have an average of around 60 views per video because its less than a week old.

Next month, i will start my 2nd monetized channel. Im still researching whats best niche to choose for youtube automation.

No promotions at all, I am doing only long-form content and shorts, that's all!

Yes, the RPM is so LOW for shorts, but my objective is to monetize my long-form content, shorts are just some kind of a tool for me.

Why depressed? Text me if you need some guidance, I may help you somehow to overcome that! :)

Thank you, DO NOT LOSE HOPE! Something might be wrong then in my opinion, watch your competitors, and what they do and try to copy that + your style, add quality that's how you succeed!
 
I just started a similar Journey but for now doing only shorts to get subs I'll post long form videos once I hit 1K subs , are you outsourcing all the video work or there is something you do yourself ? because I m doing everything myself and I find it really hard to upload quality videos every single day

Nah, no chance to do everything myself, I have hired people in every position, and I am doing the research part, managing the quality (QA), YT management, and all of that stuff. You should hire somebody and opt for quality first, that's how you succeed, but OFC there is also some kind of TRICKS to get ahead! :O

I have a VO, VE, TB Designer, Script Writer + Research.
 
I did what you did a few years back but picked the Travel niche, which was the worst you can possible do. Good luck!

how much are spending for each outsourced video if you are okay with sharing that info ?

It can be good if you twist it somehow, maybe I will try that with my future channels :D

It depends, I'm testing new workers atm, swapping between video editors, etc. But the cost it's around 50-70 for a decent-quality video :D

I have like 9 long-form videos, and like 30+ shorts, for this channel, I have been doing it for almost 2 months :D but my preparation for the whole business (studying, testing, networking) was for some time before I started.

This video was MEH, there is a reason behind it, some changes have been made and it was based on some NEWS!

At least we got some hours of watch time and some subscribers, do not let a couple of videos disappoint you, try to adjust something and move to the next one!

I learned from my mistake, in the building process of this video I made a small mistake that I should have considered, but we learn, we adapt!

So, a brief update, but the next one is HUGE!

how have you done the niche research ? it is very important to start the channel first. we've love to know how have you done it and have you use semrush tool or ubersuggest ? good luck
