Journey to 50$ a day / 1000 Articles

Hey,

I am an Internet Marketer since about 3 years now.

I really don't like useless talk, so I will try to be always straight to the point.
Also, my english isn't the best, so sorry for that...


Why am I posting here?

I think, it might be helpful to get some help and motivation from you guys.


What I will be doing:

My very first goal is to get to 50$ a day with Adsense + Content Generation
My second goal will be 1000 articles which as a side effect has about 100$ a day (should be by looking to other blogs)


How I will do that?

For my first goal I will use some wordpress content generators. This content will be unique and readable because its from Yahoo API.
Then I will try to rank for about 1000 long-tail keywords with very weak competition, and about 2-5 searches a day.
This long-tail keywords will look like "Long Tail Keyword in a City" for example.

If this approach wont work, I will try the usual article writing + outsourcing. I will make it my daily main task to post 10 Articles a day.
100*10 = 1000 articles, my goal in about 100 days.

Every article, doesnt matter if generated content or humanly written, will be modified for SEO purposes. Therefore SEO will be my main Traffic source.

After a few weeks this should (hopefully) get some traction and the first articles should be ranked. If I hit the 10visits/day mark (should be pretty soon),
I will just put up Adsense and hope for the magic to happen


My progress (this will be updated with key points):

Sep, 11: - Brought an expired domain
Sep, 12: - Searched for KW's and tried to generate some Automated Content

Clueless, what kind of content is that?

"This content will be unique and readable because its from Yahoo API " Good luck with that. Instead, write 10 decent articles yourself you would be surprised which does better.

You'll have a semi-hard time ranking for these long-tails in the first few months, unless your expired domain is in the related niche.

thanks for your interest.

The content I will get will be from Yahoo Answers, so if I put like 15 random answers together it will be a unique article.

You guys might be right, maybe I really should focus on writing the articles manually but I want to test this automatic approach as an experiment.

As this is automated it wont take much time anyway.

So to update this thread, what I did today:

I did some Kw research for my niche and got some good longtail Keywords which are getting about 2 searches per day each.

I will search now for some tools which will help me with this longtail kw process.

If anyone knows, feel free to tell me

3rd day already.

I have about 10 generated arciels now, and I will try to make about 1-5 articles each day so I wont make any fingerprints for google.

Still, there is no Google Adsense on, as no page is ranked yet.

I will write again, when a few pages are ranking.

I'll follow this journey! Hope you'll reach your goal!

Subbed. I wish you the best of luck but I've no idea how you plan to put 10 yahoo answers questions into an article, even if you somehow find some with an attempt at spelling how will you turn them into a cohesive article when even the most similar questions are quire disjointed.

For my first goal (50$ a day) I really just try to get as much traffic as possible to monetize it with Adsense.

I just try this as an experiment, so maybe Google will rank those articles as normal ones and bring traffic to my site, even if the article isnt really usable for a human.

Maybe this approach is not the best one, but I am pretty sure that it wont take much time and money to get started and if this experiment succeeds, we would have a pretty cool method.

For sure, Google has some algorithms to protect against automated Content, but however, I will try to play this game as good as possible.




As I wrote, If this approach wont work at all, I will just get into the manual "whitehat" article writing biz.

Yep, Shouldn't be the best one, as Google will detect and ban it, maybe now, maybe in 1 month and maybe in 1 year. But you are right, its definitely not a good long term strategy.

Anyhow I will focus on my 2nd goal then, if it wont work.

Update:

After about 5 days, 20 of my generated articles are ranking.

I dont try to make as "much as possible", furthermore I try to dont get caught by Google.

I customized my plugins, so each article will have the best Seo optimization automated too.

great journey 1,000 articles is quite a challenge. One thing you could do is as you start earing invest 100% back into articles. It will help you site grow significantly faster and you can focus on keyword research or more sites. Good luck!

Yep. That what I will do ALWAYS. I am a person who invests 100% back as long I see everything is working fine and bringing me more back than I invest.

Also, great news for today: 8 articles ranking now (submitted a xml-sitemap) and my 2 first visitors came today ))

PS: I cant update my first thread post anymore, so I cant post my progress there. I will just write here as posts.

1k articles!!! wow the most I ever put up was 200+ below 300 mark. Good luck and keep us updated on your journey

Well, if I will put about 3 articles a day, that would take about a year.

Hopefully I can boost this by outsourcing for the money I get with adsense.

So if I start earning 30$ a month with 100 articles, I would put it into articles and get a few more each month.

By the way, what do you guys would expect as an income for 1000 articles?

Any update on how this went for you?
