  • Posted some filler content on the money sites.
  • Checked over the server usage of the BN and it looks like it has settled down now so i’m guessing the problem a few days back was coming from updraft.
  • Added all of my bridge network domains as competitors on my rank tracker so I will be able to track them against my money site in future.
  • Spent some time looking for locations to move to if this all works to do the whole digital nomad thing and there are so many places that look awesome.
  • I was meant to go to the gym today to do stop start jogging for an hour but my calfs are cramping for some reason so I will put it off until tomorrow.
  • Read my kindle.
  • Caught up with my podcast subscriptions as background noise while posting some filler content to the bridge network.
  • Received and processed a bunch of content from my writers ready for posting to the money site and bridge networks.
  • Canceled all of my subscriptions to things link VPS’, proxies and catch-alls to try minimise outgoings as I probably won’t need them next month but plan to pick them back up in October
  • Posted some linker articles to the bridge network.
  • Started making a rough plan of how I could outsource the processing an acquisition of possible domains to make a PBN in the future.

Fair one, thats one of the first things I plan to outsource to a VA if I decided to go all in on PBNs. Is the search volume for that keyword accurate? 165,000 searchs a month seems crazy and I can remember back when I used SERPBook they were usually wrong. How much do you think that page will be able to make if it gets top three?

It's global search volume. They have the setting for either global or US. According to ahrefs, the amount of US search is around 49k while serpbook showing 60k.

Not sure how much. The serp isn't settled yet so I'm gonna wait for more time and then decide what to do next.

Keep us updated your serp progress bud. :)

What a beast of a journey! You rock buddy. Keep us updated like you are already doing :)

  • The BN hosting CPU usage seems stable so I may start scaling up the number of domains I have slowly to let the domains age in and fill up with content.
  • Read my kindle.
  • Did a bit of a Q&A with a client to try and get his SER rig in order and then implemented the new setup to his server.
  • Posted more filler content out to the BN.
  • Started working on a daily plan for servicing/maintaining/growing the bridge network but I am in two minds if I should throw more cash in on this now or wait to see how it performs and keep the cash for PBNs.
  • I decided to retention check a whole bunch of URLs from SER, SERE and Manual Web 2.0s from the past few month to see whats still alive to help me decide what to use while going forward. These were the results with the percentages show as dead links that are 6-12 weeks old.

    SER = 43-68%
    SERE = ~18%
    Manual Web 2 = ~10%

  • Completed a light version of my weekly servicing as I am not using SER much right now.
  • Ran theme/plugin/CMS updates for all money site and bridge network domains.
  • Posted out a batch of linker content to the BN.
  • Managed to find a pretty cheap supplier of burner hotmail email accounts to test with SERE to see if it can possibly replace the manual web 2.0s to save a whole bunch of cash.
  • Processed another batch of content for the MS/BN from my writers to drip feed out.
  • Posted some filler articles and a money page out to the money site network.
  • Stop start jogging for 30 mins, should have been an hour but my calfs are still acheing. I think it maybe due to lack of protein, trying to get by on 1600 calories per day to shed weight quickly so I have picked up some whey protein powder to increase my protein intake and hopefully speed up recovery.
  • Trying to develop the habit of reading between jobs as a mental refresh rather than playing a few games of Hearthstone and its went pretty well for today at least.
  • Did a little more research for a vlogging set up, pretty much set on the hardware and software I want for it. Coming up with new ideas for content each day. Currently I am thinking of blending in a vlog of what I get unto each day with video based tutorials rather than the text based ones I have been doing. I have lost count of the number of times people have asked me to do a video format tutorial but it doubles the workload for very little pay off. If some of these initial projects rank and start earning by Christmas I will probably look to buy the hardware required in the January sales and start vlogging early/mid january.

Hey i have been following this journey keep it going!

Cheers man will do :).

How are you posting content to the BN? Manual or automated?

Article Forge was pretty good for auto posting I remember.

With this one I am doing it 100% manually and then if it works I will take on a VA to do the filler posts and maybe the linker posts too. I built one before this that I tried to automate but screwed it up due to a bug in SER and not paying attention to some test projects. Essentially I want them to look just like real independent websites but this initial test batch do have a fair few footprints that I will remove in the future if I scale the method up.

OP whats your current earnings at? Have you thought about automating this?

  • Had some dramas getting the hotmail email accounts to work in SER, suspect it is due to their POP3 settings so I reached out to the supplier for some clarification. Just going to leave it as the guy doesn’t really understand me and it was only $10.
  • Completed implementing the new system to the clients server as it needed a few tweaks after the initial version.
  • Posted out another set of filler and linker articles to the BN.
  • Made a few new alfred shortcuts and updated some legacy ones.
  • Went over the Trello I had setup with ideas for blog posts and filtered it for stuff that would work for vlog videos theres actually a whole bunch of content I could do in vlog format.
  • Index checked my linker pages from the BN and around 50% are indexed and it does seem like they are indexing the order they are posted.
  • Started penning out a T2/T3 system for the BN linker pages with a few split tests included.
  • Typed up a post on my bridge network theory over on the GSA forum that some people thinking of trying it may find helpful to explain the concept - http://forum.gsa-online.de/discussi...ation-from-website-magazine/p2#Comment_147762
  • As part of my health body healthy mind thing and to slightly reduce cooking time throughout the week I have started to bulk cook healthy meals and freeze them so spent around an hour doing that for the week today.
  • Made two new trellos to help with case studies and testing, one is based on the OODA loop and the other is based on the premeditations of evil I can see both being pretty useful over time filled out some of the premeditations of evil one but I dont plan to do OODA loops until either the three or four month point after a test.
  • Read my kindle.
  • Had some dramas with my SERE API code do had to spend a little time sorting that out.
  • Getting sick of people taking my time up about doing various freelancing tasks and then flaking so I spent some time looking for a platform where I can just link them to it with my rates and then thats the end of it unless the choose to pay. I could do it via UpWork but they take a 20% cut but the alternatives don’t seem very good, I may look into the woo commerce consulting plugin.
  • Stop start jogging for 30 mins, calfs stopped me doing any longer. Taking a rest day from running tomorrow but might try some weights, been thinking of dropping cardio for now and just focusing on a clean diet and weight lifting.
  • Setup some new IFTTT’s to try keep me in a shcedule.
  • Noticed that one of my money pages from this journey jumped onto the first page over night with a number of other pages dancing around on page two so hopefully they will keep climbing. The first and second keywords should bring in around $350 a month if they get top, the third keyword should be around the $70 a month mark with the fourth keyword being a similar keyword to the second one so not sure if their search volumes are merged into one with the new way G shows search volume.

Really enjoyed this + your followup to it on the GSA forum. How do your costs compare on the SERE Web 2s vs the manual ones?

very very good journey bro , best luck with any new journey ;)

Following :D Been a good read so far!

Cheers guys :).

I managed to get the manual web 2.0s down to 30 cents per page so 10 for $3 where as if my math is correct I get around 1000 pages per $3 with SERE but the domains arnt as good in my opinion due to having a nightmare getting emails that work on the stronger domains that SERE supports.

I find SERE to be a nightmare all around. Good share regardless :)

I think it should have been a stand alone tool tbh but I like how I can set a project up once and have it run forever instead of having to set projects up every morning like I did with RX. Running a test with SERE right now to run over night to see what kind of platforms I can get with regular mail.ru accounts.

I've found the learning curve to be very steep, mostly because I can't figure out what it's doing and troubleshoot what's going wrong. Agreed on it being better as a standalone tool in some way.

Have you tried Yahoo emails? I had similar issues with the default emails inside RankerX and did much better with some disposable Yahoo accounts.

I'm having a nightmare getting hotmails/yahoos. Where you getting yours? Just checked the SERE test and its got some verified wordpress/Tumblrs and that was the main thing I was after in all honesty for my up coming tests.

I only tested one, which I got from a friend of mine, and this was sometime in the spring. He buys everything from buyaccs.com, though IIRC they don't accept Paypal or American credit cards, so I could be introducing you to another nightmare :)
