[Journey] Growing A Money Site Network To $10,000 A Month!

I only tested one, which I got from a friend of mine, and this was sometime in the spring. He buys everything from buyaccs.com, though IIRC they don't accept Paypal or American credit cards, so I could be introducing you to another nightmare :)

I tried them, they don't accept UK cards either :( I was actually looking into getting a bit coin wallet just to get some from them but out of three guys I found who sell hotmails none have worked so i'm not sure I can be bothered to go through the effort yet until I have proven the concept.

I cannot remember reading...on your test sites do you monetise via Amazon or other affiliates? Just wondering what type of keywords you are targeting.

Thanks.

This is a very fun read. I assume you don't have anyone helping you with this yet, do you? It's a LOT of work for just one guy.

Some have adsense, some have amazon, some have both but most have nothing right now. Keyword wise it is usually an adsense style keyword as I try to keep the amazon ones for the money site network. Although I am a fan of the AHRefs keyword research tool, it costs far too much if thats the only reason you pick the sub up so I still just use my free keyword research method for most of the keywords.

I have a bunch of freelancers from UpWork/Fiverr and the odd one or two from the BST here, they mainly do content generation for my money sites/bridge network, logos, PBN filtering and stuff like burner email creation for automated tool.

@Shaunm Read your GSA forum post and got me thinking. Could you use Rankwyz to manage both the bridge network and Web 2.0 network? There is a free plan available.

Might give this a go myself combined with EBN for hosting and maybe Article Forge for content generation.

hey shuan, I have a tool that can help you pump out tier 1 or money site content faster.

I will provide free access to you in return if you could agree to be part of a case study to see if the content indexes/ranks.

I would imagine you could, in all honesty, I signed up for Rankwyz version 1 about 3 years ago and it never worked, they launched version two and its crazy prices so I never went back.

I can't use it on my bridge network but I can probably use it on some manual web 2.0s or something.

good. go forward and forward day by day is good journey ....

Cheers mate :).

That's the way to do it man! Good job :)

  • Did a few thumbnail tests for vlogs with the custom artwork I use in my daily journal icon and on my blog but not sure if I like it. I might pay some freelancer to make up a rough template based on it in a few months though.
  • Ran a SERE test batch over night to see what kind of links it is able to generate with regular mail.ru accounts and 2captcha happy with its out and .ru's seem to be able to generate WordPress now so I am happy with that.
  • Spent some time planning possible sections for daily Vlogs to mix in-between my regular day to day stuff and researched the amazon influencer affiliate program as a method of monetizing the vlog in addition to adsense, consulting and freelancing.
  • Processed another batch of content from the writers ready to post. I might post a bunch of linker content out at once to the BN in an attempt to get the links online ASAP so they can start ageing in rather than dripping as I do now. I have a whole bunch of linker content backed up now.
  • Did some traffic leaking for my personal blog.
  • Sent out some new content orders for money pages and linkers for the bridge network.
  • Read my kindle.
  • Updated the digital toolkit post on my personal blog and added a splash paragraph to my GSA toolset posts informing users how they can get a 15% discount on the toolset via my digital toolkit page.
  • Received the $100 order of manual web 2.0s from the other day, I alive checked them in a SER project and then backed it up for ease of use in the future as I have no use for them until I get my higher specked VPS next month to build some tiers to them.
  • Decided to bulk post a bunch of the BN linker content as I am planning to pick up a higher spec VPS early next month to start building tiers out and get ahead of the backlog I have.
  • Planned out the stuff I want to run on the VPS I pick up next mont but I may have to get a wizard instead of a geek as it will probably end up being pretty high link outputs per day.
  • Posted some filler to the money sites.

  • Did a little keyword research and decided on some new keywords for a little PBN test I have wanted to try for a while, broke them down into two different batches to test two theories I have.
  • Read my kindle.
  • Research some more vlog stuff and I think it could be a nice little hobby now I am starting to understand it, especially if I manage to go off and do the whole Digital Nomad thing.
  • Ordered some new content for the PBNs for the test I decided to run and posted a new filler content gig up on UpWork to try get some more writers who I can push jobs to as and when required.
  • One of my clients took up a SERE subscription so added into his SER rig for him and set off a new T1 project for automated web 2.0s for him.
  • Setup some new IFTTT macros to try and automate some stuff going directly to my Pocket so I don’t have to waste time doing it manually.
  • Completed my project plans for the coming month but don’t expect to see results for 4-6 month from them in all honesty. There is a whole bunch of stuff going on ranging from PBN stuff to observing the effects of bridge network links on pages already on page one from legacy domains to four tier projects that will have around 35,000 contextual links and 1,000,000 non-contextual links.
  • Researched a way to add YouTube video posts to my personal blog without it spamming up the home page with the videos and I think I have worked out a way I can do it.
  • Proccesed the applications for the content job on upwork, pushed out $60 worth of jobs to writers but had to repost the job as I have about another $60 worth to send out. Noticed that Upwork now charge a fee to clients to have their jobs have maxamum visibility to freelancers so thats probably the reason so few applied to the job. I have five writers saved that I use usually so it shouldn’t be a problem just they have jobs for BN content so had to take on some over flow writers.
  • Updated my my UpWork post on my blog to reflect their changed to charging clients for maximum visibility on their job postings and how it could effect building up a writing team.
  • Came up with costs for one of the clients to have a project pushed live on my BN to try improve his pages rankings.
  • Did a check over my PBN domains to see how they are doing metric/index wise. Everything seems fine but I kind of want to take some time to improve their ascetics and add custom logos and stuff to them. Not sure how much of a difference it would make to G though, The Majestic algo is able to workout the the niches of the domains has changed so i’m guessing Google can meaning it wouldn’t be hard for them to counter PBN strategies by adding some niche change element into their algo.
  • Went over my PayPal auto approved payments to clean it out ready for taking on some new services next month.
  • Came up with a new test I want to run next month, most of the BN content for it is already online though thankfully.
  • Updated my reading list post on my personal blog.
  • Reached out to AAWP support with a suggestion for their product that works similar to geni.us but integrates directly with AAWPs product boxes and such. In theory, it will help increase conversions and amazon affiliate income.
good wishes for your journey.

Cheers dude :).

  • Processed another batch of incoming content ordered from the UpWork team.
  • Pushed what I thought would be the last batch of content for this phase but I have realised I accidentally posted two folders work (about 25,000 words) of money site filler content to my bridge network as filler content for that so I will have to push more jobs out to replace that.
  • One of the writers reached out to me as they are having internet problems so she needs a 5 day extension. No major dramas with it though as I have a whole bunch of stuff going on right now.
  • Read my kindle.
  • Published more linker and filler content to the BN.
  • Finished reading the daily stoic so updated my reading list post and decided to finish off re-reading the laws of power book by Robert Greene before I pick up another book.
  • I have been looking to take a full time salary writer on for a while now and had a girl apply to my upwork post who stated she has experience with WordPress and a few other useful skills such as logo making. I sent her an initial test batch of three articles, if she does well I will have a longer chat with her about taking her on as a full time VA. Mainly for writing duties but also the odd spot of logo making and such, with any luck I will be able to get her writing directly to the money site and bridge network domains using an editor account (might be the wrong name) to save me having to manually add the article.
  • Index checked the batch of manual web 2.0s for the zero backlink domain I decided to backlinks, around 50% are indexed now and the domain went over 5 visits in a day for the first time ever. It could be coincidence or maybe due to the sudden influence of links to it but I am hoping it starts climbing as well as the one that has most of its articles on page two with one on page one now but time will tell.
  • Published some filler content to the money site network.
  • I guess what would be called the main site that I am focusing on right now has 90% increase in traffic for the month of August, it sounds pretty impressive but its only an increase of around 100 visitors for the full month. I am happy though as it has previously just hovered around the +/- 5% traffic each month before this. When looking at the analytics you can see the exact day the traffic picked up and then held at almost the same number each day for the rest of the month. It is almost exactly five month after the domain was launched too. I am hoping this one will no go the same way as one from last year using a similar on site stratergy and grow exponentially each month but time will tell.
  • I have been going over the rank tracker and analytics data for the domain I have going targeting harder keywords than I normally would go for and noticed it seems to be slowly dying. Traffic and ranks have been on a down turn throughout the month of August. It was more of a test domain to see how trying those keywords would act though but I will probably leave this to do as it pleases until the domain is due for renewal and let it drop.
  • What used to be my zero backlink domain has had little to no real movement with its rank trackers or traffic this month, as previously said, it managed to pull over five hits per day for the first time a few days back but thats northing special. I am interested in seeing how the month of September effects this domain due to starting to build backlinks to it.
  • The final money site domain I am still paying attention to may have been hit by one of the August algo updates as its rank tracker drops out on the 13th matching up to algoroo for SERP fluctuations but then bounces back in slightly lower on the 19th on the other rollout. Kind of as if one algo kicked it out and the other brought it back but with slightly lower ranks. I don’t plan to do much with this domain this month as I want to see if anything like that happens again before I put more money into it.
  • I have started planning a new money site to follow the same on site style of the main site I am focusing on right now. I have a whole bunch of keywords for both money page and filler pages for it.
  • I spent some time talking to a friend on Skype who mentioned a bunch of his PBN boosted sites all seemed to randomly rank (top 3) in August after months of doing little to nothing. He lost a whole bunch of stuff in Fred and rebuilt using a similar strategy that he used to but he said what used to take him around four weeks now took 5 months. This kind of time frame matches up almost identically to my own stuff leading me to think the sandbox is based around backlinks to your site ageing in rather than your money site domain itself as I have had 5 month waits on parasite pages recently. If my PBN links need 5 months age before Google pass any real juice from to my money pages from them then I probably have 2-3 month to wait before I see anything with them.
  • Did some light keyword research for one of my clients and sent some writing jobs to my writing team for another.
  • Processed another batch of new content, this time its all for my PBN based stuff to pushed it out to the PBN domains. Change a few minor things while logged into the PBN domains.
  • Heard back from AAWP support about my suggestions and he has recently implemented a easier feature that is similar so I went through my money site network and turned the feature on.

Interesting report from your friend. Makes identifying good link sources a lot harder though :(

Yea defo, basically just a waiting game while you cross your fingers lol.

@Shaunm @redrays Just some more info to add. Had a look today at some Web 2.0 projects I ran at the back end of July. Looked at 3 projects - 10 Web 2.0 T1 and then cheap PBN post as T2. Seem to get an initial ranking boost within 1 week (of +10 positions) then rankings plateaued. These were fresh Web 2.0s.

These seems to contrast sharply with what you/I see when adding PBN links - no initial movement or if anything, maybe a small drop. I am running a testing of 5 PBN links to one page and will report back how that goes.

Interesting, by cheap PBN posts as T2 do you mean something like lovers service? To my knowledge he has had thousands of those domains online for years so I'm guessing similar services have too. Maybe it's that domain age having an effect on the web 2.0s or something. Defo report back with the results of the PBN test you just started :).

It maybe just a coincidence of the five-month thing but my parasite blast of RX/SER links took 5/6 month to start showing any movement, back in 2014/15 it was much quicker. The screenshot I posted a few days back of a page popping onto page one has been online just over five month now with its PBN links being online for five month three days I think it was when I posted the screenshot and my mates were five month too so I am just extending expectations of anything from the three/fourth month period upto the 5/6 month.

I lost a whole bunch of my historical rank tracker data when I let SERPLab drop but my own PBN stuff seems to jump a few SERP positions and then either hold steady or dance a little bit then after a while it jumps higher again and either holds steady or dances and repeats. The stuff my mate showed me is similar so I shouldn't have used the phrase "doing little to nothing" but his recent jumps were from pages 5-7 into the top 3 as if some magic condition had been met somewhere rather than just jumping 10 or so SERPs.

It was at eatingmemory's service - very similar to lover's though. Found that lover's were not showing in Majestic or seemed to be increasing any of the Web 2.0s metrics, whereas eatingmemory's did. The Web 2.0s T1 were actually from ofuture/SeoPez.

The plateauing after the initial boost reminded me of share prices. The keyword hit a ranking high, dropped slightly below that and returned a few times to exactly the same high (but never passed it). Basic stuff, but as in share prices something must be holding the keyword back - page or domain "authority" most likely in my opinion (i.e. more links required).

The PBN test is on a plateauing keyword but also thinking I will do a second test with adding more Web 2.0 links to a keyword with previous Web 2.0 links.

PS: Also running a journey thread at the moment where I will be blasting links at the home page of a new site and see how that works. The site is about 3 months old, how no backlinks......and ranked for jack shit :)

I was thinking of pushing a one of those services to a set of BN posts to see how they do, I think I will check eatingmemorys service out and give it a try to a set of BN's once they are complete.

I saw your journey on the front page of BHW earlier, I will keep an eye on it :).

  • Did some math to try and workout a rough number of daily link output required for my upcoming projects to know what kind of VPS I need, i’m in two minds if I should go with a server or not so will wait out on ordering anything.
  • Noticed that one of the pages from the zero back linking domain that still has zero backlinks to it randomly jumped onto page 1 for its keyword. Its in the bottom third of page one but curious as to how it will stick.
  • Set off a new type of PBN test on one of the money pages on what was the zero back linking domain.
  • Posted out some filler content to the BN.
  • Planned out some on page tests that I plan to run on the BN with linker content so did a little math and theory crafting on the best way to do it and settled on some keywords that I want to try it for.
  • The girl from the other day delivered her content and for the price its perfect, offered her the job of my goto writer and an extra 25 cents per article if she types them directly to my domains. She accepted, pushed $90 of content orders her way to bulk a domain out and pushed around $150 of content orders out to other writers for other things. Hoping tis is the last content I have to order in a while as its getting crazy expensive.
  • Prossessd more content orders and posted them out to the bridge network, money site netowork and PBNs.
  • Spent some time tweaking a few more things on the PBN domains but its at a stage now where I am happy to just leave it and see if its money pages become profitable or not before I put more work into it.
  • I decided to try a cheap PBN T2 service to some BN posts, I was going to purchase it but noticed they are giving away review copies so I applied for one to help keep costs down, sent the service provider the details and I will keep an eye out for any SERP movements.
  • Read my kindle.
