[JOURNEY] Cold email method for dropshipping website

Are you only marketing through mass emailing, or do you have other plans on how to market your dropshipping?
I will use facebook ads and instagram to market but before that I want to give it a try

Whats the update? What tools you using to send the emails?

Yesterday night, I first tested with cold email. I used klenty trial for bulk emailing.
Sent mail to 200 emails. Used google suit trial for my email server.
Among them I see 45 emails was not sent. Blocked by email provider.
4 emails was viewed till morning. 1 click to my website but no sale.

I will not try this as I am afraid that if I continue this, my domain can get blacklisted. This is loss project. I will start ads on facebook.

Ya you have to warm up the domain. I'm trying to find someone that has a list of emails we can use to send to to warm up the domain sender score.

Hi OP
Interesting , i have same plan as you do.
as i have new drop shipping website.

Email? What product you're selling on if you don't mind me asking?
I would rather do some cold marketing outreach, but not email (for my product case)

cold emailing for c2c; we call it 'spam' :) anyway, keep in mind 2000 is very low data for c2c even ultra-targeted niche. plus, you don't have a hook or an original product, you have products they can find on lots of platforms. (because you doin' dropshipping thing)

let's do the match:
  • In the best scenario
    • Open rate: 10% (drops to 200)
    • Click rate: 10% (drops to 20)
    • Conversion rate: 5% (drops to 1)
Expect 1 sale in the best scenario. How much do you profit from one product? $20 - $30? How many hours did you waste to do an email campaign? 20 hours? It's $1/hour -- I think it's not your main purpose & it's not sustainable

I suggest you blast (XX.000 or XXX.000 or X.000.000 emails) -- OR change your channel where your hard work turns in a stable asset. (i.e facebook ads) why? you optimize your campaign, find the sweet spot where you make a profit, and you own that! that's a good asset)

If you have the time and resources to invest in this, you can do a lot with it. I've been doing BH stuff for 13 years, and only started messing with cold email in the last year. Cannot believe how complex it is, and how much you must fail/learn to make it profitable.

But once you do, there is huge potential, that the likes of Facebook, Google, Instagram etc cannot take away from you.

Hey there i just came across this thread and idk if any of the guys here is still active and maybe have tried it but i found this thread quite interesting as i have a similar idea as the first guy had but a bit different.
So firstly i know a thing or two about programming and server deployments and recently got my hands to around 6-7M emails, all verified because i did run a python script myself that checks into this mail servers that give the emails out if they exist or not and some other functions that verify the emails and keep only the very good ones. Secondly i have a marketing agency at the moment and to do cold outreach at the start of it i did go through some trial and error to build an email server for myself which allows me to have unlimited email addresses, which is good for load balancing the cold emails i sent to prospects between this emails, i do also have a server that uses the AWS SES ip to automate emails basically mautic configured and working at the moment so that can be used as a workplace to automate the email sending to all this 6-7M emails. Now ive never tried e commerce before and ive seen that ads work(even tho my agency works in the gym niche) but when i got my hands on this emails the first thing i thought was what can i sell to them and some kinda of products was the best idea to be honest, this emails are from all over the world and all types of people so i cant dive into a specific niche and send them all emails for my agency services for example. I saw some guys with a lot of experience here in marketing and i would like some advice and thoughts on this idea, btw to send all this emails to 7M people costs like 700$ in AWS which is a steal considering the case that if i sell smth i can easily make 10x of that money, plus it would be a nice experiment and i can afford to lose those money if nothing works. Sorry for the long text i appreciate everyone that went through this!!

Scrape your info and then use something like GSA contact to sen emails , need to have proxys also , and you will have higher chance geting in inbox than spam
