Is this a scam?

Hi everyone, I have a question which I believe the more experienced can answer. I have a relatively large fb page that grows really fast. We receive tens of messages from fans every day. One of those messages was from a guy, who claimed to be working for an marketing company based in Los Angelis.

Here is what he said:
"
We offer you $ 75 per ad post initially. You will share one post a day and seven in a week. I don't need to be admin on your page. For security reason we work on business manager, where you will require to add me and assign me role of advertiser on your page for 5 minutes only. During this time I will create settings like adding posts and setting budget etc."

This seems to good to be true, so I ask for the honest opinion of more experienced people here. Is this a scam? Is there a way that this guy can steal my page using fb business manager or with something else.

I know the answer but try and find out! How else would you learn? Maybe I am lying :D

Now worthy to risk..increase that page and you will make much more than 75$ :)

First, thank you for the answers. The guy is really persistent. Another small part of what he wrote to me:

''
We work within the boundaries of Facebook. Facebook provide business manager for Facebook sponsored advertisement. We will have to create some settings in business manager before we go to call. Once we are done with it then you will get call for further process. Thanks

We have products which are commonly used in everyday life, like communication accessories, wears and other everyday usage material. I think political people also use them. And it will be shown on the right side of page so your routine posts will not be disturbed. Ads posts will only have side role with your posts. Thanks"
He said ads will be something like this:

He answers every question which I ask, and explains everything in detail, yet I find it hard to believe (though greed makes me wanna believe :D )
 
Ask for his complete details, office address, landline telephone, website address and website email.
Check if the company is legit and how long it has been in operation, check how old the website is, ask to see previous campaigns he has run, and only reply to the official website email.
He is probably a scammer, out to steal the account or run his ads, but if he is legit then he should be able to provide you with the information requested.

.... or send the details to Asifwilson and he will sort him out for you lol
 
Do definitely not give access to your page to a stranger unless you're ready to lose it, get all details of what is he wanting to sponsor and make sure it isn't against FB's TOS otherwise your page will get shut down.
 
It's totally a scam man be careful. Also don't fall for people that say they want to buy your page
 
I've seen this ad all over CL and people have complained the guy doesn't pay.
 
90% says scam for sure, especially since he's requesting full access to your account when its not necessary. Don't let greed help you make a bad decision.
 
Thank you all for the answers. I am not ready to risk all the efforts, time & cash that I put into this page, so I will follow your advices.
 
If he wants you to post on your page and pay for that, that's good.

But if he wants to use your ad account, it's worst, you may lost your ad account.
 
why don't you use teamviewer? : ) so he can setup campaigns easily and no need for password and access stuff.

But 99% that guy is scammer
 
It is a scam. He does not need access to your page for a daily ad / post to be added to your page. I had friends paying for their ads and they never asked for access. They simply provided link/image/description and that was all done. The thing is, if you have a big page, why would you waste it to promote others links? Why don't you start promoting your own products/links and earn from it? That would be a better use.

Well, its not that big - above 75k likes, but it grows every day with 500-2000 new likes. My idea is to make a news website and monetize with AdSense, however I wanted to make some cash before that could happen (since 70-90 k likes are not that much and I will have to wait until It reaches 150-250 k likes)
