Let me tell you, I am never buying backlinks again. I am sticking to white hat from now on. My site went from google PR: N/A to PR:0. At first I thought that was a good thing until I read that this actually means my site got blacklisted...!

Does anyone know anymore information about this or have some suggestions? My site is fairly new, about a month old. If it does mean it is blacklisted what do you suggest I do? Will my site ever rank again? I ran a pagerank check for every keyword on my site that google analytics scrapes and I didn't rank for any of them... :(

I would love for some more info on this. Maybe it isn't so bad :o

OR MAYBE IT IS!!!!:dunce:

I wouldn't worry about it. I have plenty of PR0 sites ranking for competitive keywords. Where did you hear that PR0 means blacklisted? Also, I've had plenty of PR0 domains eventually end up being PR 2-5. Keep building links and PR should eventually take care of itself.

I want to save it at all costs. I put 3 weeks of hard work into this site. Have it set up with eCommerce and some other tools that took a while to perfect :D

Also, what are some 'safe' white hat seo software's to maybe make posting or reaching new customers/traffic a little easier.

Thanks in advance!

I am pretty sure PR0 is not blacklisted, and usually you will get indexed, and then blacklisted if you literally spam a ton of links.

All sites start out at PR 0, you are worrying about something that is not important. The PR of your site, makes no difference as to where you rank in the rankings.

Going from PR N/A to PR 0 does not mean a website is blacklisted.
IMHO, PR N/A means 'Google is not aware of this website', while PR 0 means 'Google is aware of this website but ranks it PR at the lowest possible'!

Your site is not blacklisted, went from PR:N/A to PR0 just means that your site is now in index by big G. So don't worry about that, just keep on doing some SEO work!

Do you believe writing unique articles and posting them with an automatic article submitter is 'safe' and effective? I am thinking about doing this as my next step

It is really ment not disgusting in anyway (honestly): OP, this was one of the sweetest newbie posts I ever read.
Don't worry, everything is well.

It's reasonably safe but I'm not sure it will be that beneficial. A lot depends on your competition. If you're trying to rank for an easy keyword then maybe a few articles will get you ranking, although unlikely.

If it's middle to high competition you're going to need a lot more than articles to rank. Diversify - get as many links from as many different sources as possible and never stop getting them. It's real fun..... if you hit the top spot that is.

And read this forum. Damn man, whose telling that pr0 is blacklisted, he must be a guru!

BTW... don't get obsessed with pr. Get obsessed with ranking your site. A 0 pr site earning money is a lot better than a pr5 earning nothing.

i have the ultimate niche finder, and use this with page rank mozilla. I have found 2-3 keywords that have little competition. Do you suggest that I build a blog on my hosting site to help rank for these words? Any suggestions that I can apply to my site to help it rank. I am currently not even ranking for a single keyword on my site :(

I would love some solid advice

also, is there any way I could actually test to check if my site is blacklisted?

DP noob, stop worrying about PR lol.

I think N/A to 0 means you're on the Google map. You can only go up from here. :)

DP=DigitalPoint. You'd understand if you spent time there. I did unfortunately a few years ago and then got sickened by the constant mindless posts.

Forget PR, and focus on quality content and good backlinks (in a structured way, don't slam your site).

This post brightened up my night. Keep working and don't worry about Page Rank unless you are trying to build a blog network or sell high PR backlinks.

whooohhoooooo well now I feel much better. Back to focusing on making money.

My porn site made 30$ this week already hehehe

Getting PR 0 does not mean that your site got blacklisted actually your site will be moving slowly up. Therefore don't worry about it soon your sites will get indexed with high pr.
