is anybody using travel.blog wordpress subdomain [free plan users]

i created a travel blog a while ago, and i noticed that WordPress give this sub-domain instead of wordpress.com. so is there other sub-domains or is it just for travel niche. and is it ok to use it; seo wise.

It's always better to buy a domain so that you can sell it later.
