I am seeing huge drops today ... losing around 40k pageviews in my network ... anyone else experience it?

Rather than run Penguin on demand, Google now runs it 24/7. Due to this there is a lot of page churning.

Just because you drop in rankings, do not mean that its a Google Update. Could just be you who got hit by Penguin, Panda or Unatural Links maybe.

thats what it seems like. alot of my ORM clients are seeing massive changes in their search results. Ripoff reports are dropping like flys....can anyone else confirm the same?

I've had a site previously hit by NSEO jump up 4 pages to page 2 in the last 24 hours.....

could be a fix???

I am seeing the opposite. ROR and Pissed Consumer I had buried rising. But as I said earlier, there is a lot of page churning. The is a certain Mugshot website that attempted a hash collision attack against Google to increase the positioning of their smut. Just recently, G updated Penguin to run 24/7 rather than on demand. The other thing that G has done recently is to implement DNSSec. I am watching and observing with my notepad.

I am not at liberty to say more than this.

Edit add:
Also, besides rotating servers about every three - four hours, G also rotates backup servers in and out about every three months.

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of strange movement today - even on sites with barely any links built/no SEO done. Will be interesting to see where everything settles after this is finished.

Guys remember they use different nodes which means that some nodes might show one ranking for your site while another will show something different, give it a bit then check your rankings again when things settle.

Not sure if there was an update or not but I'm seeing positive movement all across the board for my sites. Not a very significant amount though, just a few positions here and there.

I am not sure if this is normal, but I see myself ranking "blue widgets" (example) on #8,

Then when I use a proxy to check from another city, i am #2

Does Google rank sites based on different IP location that's being searched from? That keyword has NO LOCAL intent btw.

Yes. I have a non-local site which was ranked #4 from where I live and #8 from a proxy for a very competitive keyword.

That same website just dropped to #10 locally.

I believe its often happening by Google, There no official tweet or post regarding this update. I believed as so that this is just google dance

well I'm seeing a recovery on a $300 p/d keyword that dissappeared to nowhere back in Feb after an unnatural links letter, as well as some good moves on some unmarketed pages.

So I'm fucking excited!

I am also seeing lot of inner pages of authority sites ranking without any backlinks.
