investing $200,000 usd on gpu mining

I think you crazy buy a property live of tenant fees for life.

Coin all bullshit involves luck.

Also what happened they all get shut down, the governments already see coins as online fraud money

You can open a nice estate letting home business for that type of cash massive income.

The problem you got is coin rigs go on sale every day and the hardware changes weekly so in two years all your hardware will be worth to nothing.

Your business concept like betting
Black or red = spin (( taking heavy chances on your cash ))

Even investing in gold for two years better

Trust me even with electricity free most are just surviving from maintenance costs.

There no money made from old hardware so forget that crap.

There 25k processors out there with dual motherboards purpose-built for mining big boy shit most go down why no profit.

Like I say with big money I strongly advise renting bricks and water....

Garages, homes........
Larndrets and car wash and vending machines all make good cash.
Only warning you .

Go for it. Crypto is not doing to end, and you will be making money from the core of it.

I think over long period of time, increase is difficulty is less than increase in price. So ideally, even if difficulty is increasing, price should follow.

I am not sure if this is true that if market crash, he will not be able to sell GPU. GPUs are being used for mining but still GAMING industry is big.
No, Difficulty will increase very very easy but price not follow every time. When I start mining i made 6$ per day with my gpu. After 40 days due to dificulty increase i made only 3$ ( 50% less). More miner = raise up difficulty.

Second, people mining because can get cheap gpu or cheap electricity. I get my rx gpu with 200$ on blackfriday sale - and at that price is GOLD. But if you buy with $1000...

If you truly want to start farm mining then just start. Maybe eth will increase to $20.000 in future and your farm was/will be a good ideea!

The best example was ETH. Every day difficulty increase but price have a massive drop in May month! From $4k to $2.7k right now

gpus drop in value so quickly.. we've just had a huge 50% sell off in the middle of a bull run, sink your $200k into the market now and pull out $1M in 6 months.
Or maybe just pull $1 in 6 months!

Investing in GPUs is not a bad idea at all but not for BTC mining.
You might consider ETH or other coins.

You can get your investment back in 9-10 months with the current prices but if you HODL you mined coins and prices go up you can make your money back much faster.

You may consider investing in crypto as it seems like a good time now and prices are low.

Why dont you just invest on crypto?!
It looks like prices are slowly increasing.

may I suggest, try investing half of the money in renewable energy (solar panel, etc) which can support a mining rig if your planning to build one. instead of buying crypto why not mine it.

I've been in crypto for years and I've seen shitcoins go all the way to $0.00000000000000000000000000000000 USD just like Bitconeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeect!! xDD
Who's talking about shitcoins?

I was telling OP to invest $200,000 into the cryptocurrency market to make $800,000 profit in 6 months, not buy $20 of a shitcoin and hope it does 10X.

As you've been in the crypto space for so long I assume you know there are some cryptocurrencies which aren't shitcoins? :)

Thinking that investing in Bitcoin, ETH or anything in that vein would lead to $200,000 turning into $1 6 months from now is admittedly possible, but also something you normally hear a lot of people say when they're super duper new to the market and don't yet realise that's less likely to happen than being struck by lightning twice in one day.

You missed the train now not a good time for mining, gpu price high
CMC number 1-10 each 20k after 3-4 years 200k turn into million.

It can happen when the stablecoins bubble bursts xD

way smarter move would be to take that $$ and buy enough eth to run your own eth2 validator nodes.

GPU mining works on proof of work, which is not "green". And nowadays the focus is on the "green' cryptos which work on proof of stake.
Unless $200,000 is a small amount for you, I would suggest not to go for GPU mining. Moreover many govts are suddenly taking a u-turn when it comes to mining rigs.

Bad choice. Dont do it.

Better invest in your fav crypto directly and earn yield by farming on aave. Earn additional interest by Borrowing against your collateral, put that borrowed money in curve finance earn additional interest on that as well.

This is by far your safest and most efficient way to make money in crypto.

GPUs are hard to get now

Wait sept crash. and then buy rigs.

the thing is i need this money after 1 year or 2. i am going to do some research about your words. thank you.

There's a major issue with investing in GPU mining right now, not including card supply. The most recently released 3000-series NVIDIA cards force Lite Hash Rates (LHR) for mining unlike the older uncapped models. These LHR cards are not easy to differentiate from the older normal models. If you really wanted to mine, and have a low cost of electricity, you should perhaps consider using ASIC miners instead (if you can actually source any).

with Larndrets, do you mean Laundrette?
you are the crazy one, because you are trying to make the gpu mining look like a bad gamblem. the life we living involves risk, so why don’t you stay at home? (maby you are)
renting is for people who don’t wanna work, if renting was good, nobody would ever start a business.
if someday bitcoin got shut down, then you can say gpu mining is dead. if we stopped using computers, then you can say nobody will ever get your mining parts. crypto mining is better than you think.
we are in 2021, not 1990.

that is interesting... since i know you are the one who believes in bitcoin. can you be more specific about putting my money on the market? i mean what can make that much in 6 months? ($200k to $1m)
I did ASIC mining for BTC back when price was $120. I also dumped $40k into GPU mining for Zcash right before the 2017 crash. I broke even on both but if I could do it over again I would have just bought the crypto instead. I would be up way more and waaaaayyyyyy less headache. My advice... if you believe in crypto put your $200k in the top 10 or just stake/farm a trustworthy token, trust me.

Bro why now specially after eth 2.0. if you are mining and holding then good. If you have free electricity then mining with Asics is better. Good luck bro
