Instagram stole me followers "overnight"

Hello,

What happened with Instagram this night?
Was there any cleaning of the fake and botted accounts on Instagram this night? I lose hundreds, thousands of followers just over a 6 hours period.

Instagram has been taking down fake accounts they already publicly discussed about removing fake likes from posts.

i swear i encountered the same thing just right now. I am very concerned because it had happened to two of my account so far this past week. One account has 2,068 and just lost 60 followers all at the same time. Then, I have another account with 3,000 followers that lost something like 100 followers. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the eate at which you are gaining followers in a day? Or if it may have anything to do with Jarvee settings?
