I was looking for a review for this program and searching brought up nothing.
So, when I purchased Instadub, I felt it would help out future buyers, by me posting this as I was looking at other programs and just starting out in the social media world myself.
Looking at other programs, there were issues with the other big boys that had me land on Instadub.
GramDominator - The wording in the program/options threw me off. It isn't exactly to simple to understand what they are trying to convey with the options, without asking more questions. Also, subscription based system. Pay $80 for a year access and you never truly own the program.
Nova Automation - Subscription based program. Pay $150 for a year access and you never truly own the program. Didn't look twice.
GMT2 - probably has the most potential at first glance(next to instadub) - yet I didn't look too much into it, due to being in beta, only supporting 10 accounts and proxies haven't been FULLY tested. (That's a huge risk if I'm managing accounts which aren't truly mine) Also, at the time I was looking for a bot, he is currently on a three week vacation, and people were having unanswered issues in the forum. So, that stood out to me.
Now I'll try to break Instadub down as I've only been using it for a little while:
Pricing/Licensing: This was a big selling point for me. It was $77 and my license is locally stored on my computer. Even if he goes under and his servers get taken away; my program will still work. One license can be installed on three machines.
Support: Unlike other programs; where there is a team or there is an owner. The developer @rootjazz is the owner and the developer. He is the team. I'd also like to think that English is his native language, which also helps with support issues. He may not be active on these forums, but he is on his forums. Every question I've asked on his forums, he responded the next morning. He must do something else in the PM. Someone requested on the forums for Mass DM; he said he'll add it next week
GUI: It's not as aesthetically pleasing as some apps, but it isn't as basic as some. The developer has said he isn't a graphic designer.
Ease of use: Has numerous options, but it could be considered complicated to some. Hell, he's had to walk me through some options I thought the program didn't have, cause it was so complicated That is why I love this promo module he introduced in June. Comments/hashtags/competitors all on the front page.
I was kinda skeptical when I ran across Instadub, because the developer has his hands in more than just instagram (Twitter/soundcloud, etc). And I was worried that one developer being spread thin could hinder the program. Yet, I was wrong.
I'm still learning the kinks of this program.
Verdit: 7/8 out of 10. Has all the options, just needs to make it more simple - not so complicated. That's the only thing I would change.
