I was looking for a review for this program and searching brought up nothing.
So, when I purchased Instadub, I felt it would help out future buyers, by me posting this as I was looking at other programs and just starting out in the social media world myself.

Looking at other programs, there were issues with the other big boys that had me land on Instadub.

GramDominator - The wording in the program/options threw me off. It isn't exactly to simple to understand what they are trying to convey with the options, without asking more questions. Also, subscription based system. Pay $80 for a year access and you never truly own the program.

Nova Automation - Subscription based program. Pay $150 for a year access and you never truly own the program. Didn't look twice.

GMT2 - probably has the most potential at first glance(next to instadub) - yet I didn't look too much into it, due to being in beta, only supporting 10 accounts and proxies haven't been FULLY tested. (That's a huge risk if I'm managing accounts which aren't truly mine) Also, at the time I was looking for a bot, he is currently on a three week vacation, and people were having unanswered issues in the forum. So, that stood out to me.

Now I'll try to break Instadub down as I've only been using it for a little while:

Pricing/Licensing: This was a big selling point for me. It was $77 and my license is locally stored on my computer. Even if he goes under and his servers get taken away; my program will still work. One license can be installed on three machines.

Support: Unlike other programs; where there is a team or there is an owner. The developer @rootjazz is the owner and the developer. He is the team. I'd also like to think that English is his native language, which also helps with support issues. He may not be active on these forums, but he is on his forums. Every question I've asked on his forums, he responded the next morning. He must do something else in the PM. Someone requested on the forums for Mass DM; he said he'll add it next week :p

GUI: It's not as aesthetically pleasing as some apps, but it isn't as basic as some. The developer has said he isn't a graphic designer.

Ease of use: Has numerous options, but it could be considered complicated to some. Hell, he's had to walk me through some options I thought the program didn't have, cause it was so complicated :p That is why I love this promo module he introduced in June. Comments/hashtags/competitors all on the front page.

I was kinda skeptical when I ran across Instadub, because the developer has his hands in more than just instagram (Twitter/soundcloud, etc). And I was worried that one developer being spread thin could hinder the program. Yet, I was wrong.

I'm still learning the kinks of this program.

Verdit: 7/8 out of 10. Has all the options, just needs to make it more simple - not so complicated. That's the only thing I would change.

Rootjazz makes some amazing programs, but I do agree that they seem to be cluttered. They have a ton of functionality and can do much more than a lot of programs out there. I believe this is why it looks a bit complicated.

DISCLAIMER: I own his tumblr program.

I see the Proxy tab, but can you set up individual private proxies with respective passwords for separate instagram account on Instadub?

    Thanks.

That's a fair review. I just wanted to add on the "ease of use" point. Almost all the automation software look complicated at first look, even FL/MP were. It takes some time to understand what each setting does and how to use it. But I'm sure once you learn your way around, it's pretty easy to handle.

Well, it wasn't the name, it was how the wording is in the program, in the options.

Also, about how the accounts fared; It's all automation of comments/likes/follows. It does that well. (Minus me still figuring out certain things)

Yet, based on my experience, for one to succeed well in flourishing accounts, it depends on the information you give the bot.

If I give poor hashtags/competitors, I'll get poor results. Don't manage a foodie page and use hashtags of 'girlsgonewild' and competitor of playboy.

The bot is as only as good as the user, if what I am saying makes since.

Yes, one of those accounts is using a private proxy with a username/password. The other one isn't being a local/personal account.

Great so I can have say 10 different instagram accounts running on 10 different private proxies of mine?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Yea, as far as I know. Nothing should hinder you from doing that.

Yes it does look a bit confusing, and I understand that most bots will be.
But that's why I'm hesitating with FL, at least FL has more tutorials and a much bigger user base you can get advice from.

Few things I'd like to address. Follow Liker was never under consideration for a few reasons, which should be obvious.

1.) They are currently going to a subscription model. This month they are charging $5.99 a month. For all we know, they will double that next year. You will never own the program or the license.
They give excuses for doing this, which should affect all programs across the board. Yet, as you can see - it doesn't affect programs as instadub or GMT2.

2.) @weblues is the face of the program. But he doesn't seem to be on the technical side or the owner, based on the current shit-list thread. Too many hands in a program, which is hard to know who makes all the decisions in terms of development or payment. He also has a 'dont give a f&^k' attitude.

Now Instadub does have video tutorials and written tutorials....I was just too impatient to watch/read them all. I wanted results now! Not to mention, the developer of instadub answered my questions in the forums faster than me watching all those video. (He'll probably stop responding after reading this) :p

    Thanks for this review op.

I'm going to give Instadub a try.

My previous experience with botting was massplanner for IG and twitter and both worked great (the campaign did not).

Reading the glowing (hopefully not false) reviews about rootjazz, seeing they have a robust forum and paying just a reasonable one time fee (as opposed to Gramdominator which charges a monthly fee and followliker which also charges a monthly fee on top of a purchase price -- I should have purchased FL last year instead of Massplanner) makes sense to me.

Will report back when I see how things go.

Hey @rootjazz, Instadub looks great but I'm wondering how comprehensive the scheduling functions are? I'm planning to schedule posts for multiple accounts months ahead so it's an important feature for me. Thanks!

Feel free to post your thoughts after you do check it out. I wish my review was false, that means I was getting paaaaaid. j/k

Nah, but I'm always interested in other people's points of view, especially since my frame of reference when dealing with automation software is limited.

Just downloaded instadub today and played around with it - VERY happy with it. I've used FL, tried Gramdominator, played with SMM Nova (which is good but not complete in my opinion)..

This one does the best job of them all and is very thorough and has great options. I'll be really digging into this and playing with it more over the next few days but so far I'm pretty damn happy with the job it's doing.

I wasn't referring to your review. I was commenting on rootjazz as a developer and commitment to his products.

Speaking of which, I've been using Instadub for a while now. I have experience with Massplanner so I know how botting with IG works and what to expect. I'd also saw videos on how to use followliker.

Coming from MP to ID is tricky. Doing a campaign last year, I eventually got all my accounts banned using MP so I know if this is not done right you can seriously screw up your account.

I'm going slowly with my botting. Because of that I don't think I've even scratched the surface with what this program can really do.

I think because of the interface ID has a stepper learning curve than MP or FL.

It will take probably another week before I really get the hang of it, but I like instadub and would certainly recommend it.

To be honest, I enjoy it so much. I got his TwitterDub. He gave a discount for being a 'returning customer.'

That monthly expense that those other programs use, is just not smart. What happens if you have a 'dry spell' one month? You're just throwing money out the window.

Honestly, support is better than anything I've paid for. You got a suggestion he thinks he can code in a few minutes, he'll try to have it in the next 48 hours update, which is impressive with him being a family man.
I asked for Twitterdub to do something that Instadub can do and he said he'll attempt to port it next Wednesday, as he is working the bugs out in Instadub(It's a new feature)
I also mentioned the GUI not being visually pleasing(in this review). He recently stated he may do a revamp in the future on his forums to someone else who asked for a color theme.

And in comparison some people had programs where 'Like' or the 'campaign' didn't work; and they just dealt with it as their tickets never got answered. That baffles my mind...

OK, that's it. gonna pay this guy, and with a big smile on my face.
I've asked a few questions, and i got answers faster than asking someone sitting next to me.
I totally agree, that support is making the difference,
    thanks again.
