I am hearing this a lot lately, "I lost everything with recent Google updates"
So i decided to make a thread about what to do now!
Firstly you will need to decide about domains and hostings, if you were running large number of websites, you might want to downsize hosting and if you have lots of domains with decent DA, you can sell them on auction;
godaddy auctions or dropcatch, i personally like dropcatch because i have got better rates there.
Pro tip: The End time of auction has a thing to do with better and more bids, evaluate these marketplace to see when most domains auctions are ending, and when adding your domain for auction keep this time in mind.
Short Term Approach:
The following methods are short term, don't make them your full time income source, these methods are only to get you quick income so you can invest in long term methods;
1: Non-English SEO
With recent updates; English blogging and SEO has become almost impossible, if you don't have a lot of resources for high quality content and backlinks; therefore Non-English sites are one way to go where you can see results within 1 to 2 weeks.
I started a few Non-English blogs just when March 2024 updates started rolling out, and they are giving me good results.
You should start with a new domain and get Google news approved for quick indexing.
Identify niches where competition is low, where top internet giants "Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, tiktok" don't show up more often.
I have identified few of these niches where you also get new topics on daily basis
A) Crosswords/Puzzle (Almost every European Non-English countries have tons of keywords related to this niche, and big Internet giants are nowhere to be found)
for such niches you can translate the words, for example "Crossword, puzzle, word, solution" in the respective language you want to target, then search for the translated word on Google. Go through the top ranking website, and see if you were using the right word, (Because the translation is not always correct, pro tip: deepl.com has shown to produce more accurate translation)
Try find more related words according to your niche.
Now you will have at least 3 to 5 words in the foreign language related to your niche.
Now search these words on trends.google.com and get even more ideas in related queries, choose "7 days trend period" for the latest trending keywords.
Furthermore, use these words and search on "keyword magic tool" on semrush and get even more keyword ideas for your niche.
Now use chatgpt to create content and publish at least 20 to 30 articles then apply for google news, (pro tip: to get approved on google news, create at least 4 to 5 relevant categories on your blog, place at least 3 categories on the top header menu, when you submit your blog to google news, make sure every link is working, no category is empty)
For non-English content you can directly use chatgpt created content without any issues.
If you add "reference content" in the prompt then the article generated by chatgpt will always be accurate
Example prompt:
More Low competition Niches that you can work on:
B) Literature/Long Question (use words such as "how" "when" "why" translate them in target language then use trends.google and semrush keyword tool to gather keywords)
C) Local (keywords, services, products related to local cities)
D) Quotes and Sayings (This niche has the highest engagement on social media, you can use english quotes, then translate and create target language image quotes of them, using this niche you can target low competition country like Germany, France, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Turkey and Quickly grow facebook group or sub-reddit, which are most effective these days among all social media networks, using short videos of quotes can help you gain followers very quickly on facebook group, page, instagram and tiktok, example video:
you can use services like: https://www.pexels.com/videos/ to find great free to use videos, and use youtube copyright free music library for background music, facebook has also launched library of such music)
E) Website niche, you will find a lot of keywords related to "website + login" "website + signup/register etc"
for this niche finding keywords is very easy, just use words "www" "https" ".com" "local tld for example .it for italy" and choose your target country for example "italy" in semrush tool or trends.google to gather a lot of keywords
F) Celebrities/People (Use words for translation: "net worth" "age" "height" "partner" "husband" "wife" "children" "parents")
Pro Tip: Choose keywords with less than 100k search results for quick rankings and traffic
Top Non-English countries to work on:
Germany
France
Italy
Spain
Romania
Poland
Netherlands
Greece
Norway
Sweden
Finland
Mexico
Short Term Method #2: Youtube
I want to mention one method that was shared on this forum that I really liked;
creating short videos of other people and commenting on them:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/j...tary-channel-day-1-already-a-success.1555637/
Long Term Method:
You should start with short term as they will bring you quick income, after saving some investment go for long term.
Long Term is any project or service that will help you build customers, as an email list or as directly on your website database as SAAS service.
There can be three approaches to this:
A) Dropshipping/Ecommerce brand
B) SAAS
C) Online Course
Dropshipping
For dropshipping select a single product store and brandable name for your store, that people can easily search and find,
For example I was working on Butterfly Accessories niche, so i selected name "ButterflyBoulevard" users from tiktok, insta were easily able to search this store and since name was unique and low competition, i was ranked at #1 for this keyword, additionally once you start getting visitors to your store through the search engine then your rankings for other keywords will also increase, as you will be targeting medium to high competition keywords, so this is long term approach, you can ocassionally add short videos on insta, tiktok, youtube, and create some guest posts, and let it grow gradually, and also make sure to keep exporting buyers list, so you can use them in future.
My approach of finding winning products that works to some extent; almost everytime is by using tiktok
If you are visiting from US than ok, otherwise you will need to use VPN to switch to US ip, as tiktok has different database for different countries, and US database is the largest.
Now search tags like #tiktokmademebuyit #amazonfinds #products #gadgets
and open any tiktok video and check like ratio.
How many likes per 1000 views, for that just divide total likes by total views and multiply by 1000.
Product videos with more than 50 like ratio are good to work on, my best performing products have more than 100 like ratio, also check the comments, if you see a lot of purchase intention comments, then this product will surely work. i.e "price" "where to buy it" "i want one"
Using this method I have selected multiple products, and every product has given me conversions to some extent.
Pro Tip: Try target Non-English European countries for better sales and conversions, however make sure to keep profit margin low, as these countries people don't spend like Americans.
Good countries to work on are Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Romania, Poland, Turkey.
