I Got Scammed on Bitget

Hi I got Scammed on Bitget Yesterday. I suggest you to not use this Platform because they also not help very well they can stop this Scam but they didnt yesterday early morning I went to Bitget to purchase some crypto as I want to Trade
(Because Binance and some other exchanges are Ban in India) But Bitget is Active and not banned that's why I was planning to use bitget. so when early morning I opened bitget and went to p2p section I founded a guy who was on top and also verified and he was also selling in very cheap rate like 84inr per usdt so thinked to go with him I was thinking like if I will instently sell it in p2p again then also I will get the price of 90 and it will be a clear cut profit of 6inr per usdt. So I placed the order with him for 11usdt so I can come to now he is genuine but the order did'nt got placed he has placed the advert on the site with some condition like if he will accpet the order then only the order is accepted I did not get it properly because I was new on the platform But immediately I
got his text in Inbox of the Order Page and he shared his payment details saying to pay and I will accpet your order after payment and I will release crypto immediately. so Like He said He will accpet the order after I pay so I trusted him beacuse He was on Top and also verified. so I paid and send him the screenshot and He said me to Wait 5 mints then again after 5mints I texted him again and he again said me to wait because he was passing the time and he immediately cancel the order so I texted him again. Why did you cancel the order he said I will send you the crypto but I got I am into a Scam I said him to refund my money but He didnt responded back to Me. I Emailed to Bitget Support and also texted them on Platform Support section and I was chatting with there customer executive He asked me for the details and I send him all the details and I said this guy is a Scam freez his assets and account so He can't remove his assets and I will have my refund after clear investigation he said I raised the ticket and p2p team will be back in some time. I said you can block him temporary so He can't remove his assets and no one else will be scammed but this executive leaved the Chat without listening me I again tried to reach them and then also the same guy was chatting with me I again Explained him every thing but he again leave. then I tried to connect with Bitget team in every possible way but I fail to connect with them and the Scammer was active till 2,3 hours he also scammed some other people till that because he was on top and after 3 hours I got an email from bitget "saying we cant do any with your issue the Seller has Removed the assets to other account and we didnt have any else to help with" you can have a Police complain they will help you. this is What they called so Cold Help I very an satisfied with the Platform they can Block the Seller temporary to see the issue but they didn't taked it serious and in the Evening I agained opened the Bitget and the Guy was still active on the Platform I Deleted my account from the Platform immediately. How they can lie I don't know. and I Know there is no Chance of getting my money back But I will suggest you to be aware of this type of scam and don't use Bitget Total rubbish. No Help and Verifed person Scammed and I don't know why his add was on Top.

P2p sites are teeming with scammers. But it's very easy not to get scammed if you understand the use of escrow. As soon as you paid there should be a button to mark order as paid. Always use that button irrespective of what a seller tells you.As a matter of fact I sometimes mark as paid before paying if the time is almost running out. Then you have a case. This was a very rookie mistake.

No The Seller was Still active after they said he is gone and he sent funds to another account and we are unable to help you more

You have to take risk with P2P. You can use Wazirx as a alternative.

"Pay fast" was crazy ngl ..

you got scammed by a person, not the Platform itself.

Alot of warnings about this site on twitter recently. Everyone should move their crypto off this site.

nice scam website, but dont come to a blackhat website to post blackhat stuff thats an actual scam.
new linkedin, new review, new domain. company stopped operating in 2011.
kudos to you for seeing that the name is still registered with the UK registry, but u forgot about domain whois, GMB, wayback machine and a few other areas i wont specify.

Yes, it is that person fault, not platform fault and yeah p2p is always risky. I always use only binance for p2p from those person who already selling and buying since 1k days plus. Btw there are many precaution to avoid scam.

Hi, I think can be say if youre not luck this time. P2P means person not the platform. You know on social media get easly vertified right ?
I use both Binannance and Bitget, all good for me.
I use Biget for 2 y/o
I use Binance for 5y/o

So, its barely miss from you, i think its better doing deposito from your wallet nor your Bank.

Blame the seller and in this case the buyer as well, not that platform.

Learn from it and move on.
