If you're using ChatGPT or Perplexity AI or Claude AI to write your content, it's gonna be rough because you have to play around with the prompts to get the tone right.
Also, you have to check the accuracy.
So after you spend a tremendous amount of time, tweaking and then checking the content, you will quickly realize that you probably would have been better off writing the stuff yourself.
I know that's now a popular opinion, but that is the state of the technology today, and that's why a lot of people got penalized by the March update.
They got lazy.
It's not because the AI failed them.
It's because they just simply copied and pasted the results.
If you're gonna play that game, you're going to lose because there's no editorial input.
There's no quality control, and you don't even know if the stuff is accurate.
At that stage, you're basically left to play the SEO game on a churn-and-burn level, meaning you create a tremendous amount of websites, stuff them with garbage, and then hope that enough of them survive Google and then you repeat the process again.
Not all of us have that kind of budget.
So if you want to write AI content, you're probably better off using specific tools that have been advertised on this platform and others that focus on accuracy and write in an actual human tone.
.
They even have some engagement tools.
On top of that, you can run the text through Frase or Surfer SEO.
In fact, Surfer SEO has AI content functionality.
But even then, it's anybody's guess if that stuff will get penalized.
At the end of the day, you have to remember that Google pays attention to user experience.
So when your result shows up after a Google search and somebody clicks on the link and looks at your content and quickly backs out, that counts against you.
They had a lousy experience, and you have to edit your AI output to maximize user experience.
