Most free sites created on Wix use a subdomain on Wix, e.g. username.wixsite.com/siteaddress.

Google has said in the past that it treats subdomains as separate websites (effectively as stand-alone sites - as if they had a newly registered domain name). So the authority of the wix.com domain does not leech to the username.wix.com domain. That's why the best parasites are high authority sites that allow users to create pages in subdirectories rather than subdomains. Google is wise to parasites and isn't going to let anyone rank a free Wix site (or a WordPress or a Tumblr one) with just a few quickly built, low quality links.

But to go on to why it takes more than 5 days - in order for your links to pass juice, Google has to be aware of them and the page they're on has to be indexed. Unless you force them to index, Google will take time to crawl them and then index them. Google might even crawl a page several times before deciding to give credit to the link. Nor does it crawl entire sites at once. It uses a site's crawl budget predominantly on the most visited pages (like the home page) and crawls new pages more slowly (in my experience, usually indexing them within a month unless there is an indicator that it should index the page faster - for example, if there are a lot of links from reputable sources being built to the page quickly). New sites have small crawl budgets.

Google doesn't give a lot of weight to blog comments or forum posts nowadays. So the links you've created aren't going to push much power. They aren't going to be indexed or re-indexed very fast.

Sorry. The original post was about a Wix site. You didn't mention that your parasite was a Medium page.

Build some backlinks and authority links? work with it like you are working with any other WEB 2 platform.
You can also find some great guides here in BHW if you will write ''parasite ranking'' in search.

Wix is like any other site, you need to do the regular SEO checklist on it - get backlinks, create great content, use social media.

More focus on getting links i suppose - check the BST there are tons of great link packages available
