How to properly use images under fair use?

if "fair use" includes "commenting" does that mean I must be commenting on the image itself, is commenting directly on the image fair use? Please Explain...

No, From my understanding using a product image from the creator of the product and reviewing/commenting directly on the image is fair use? I'm trying to figure out if this is correct or not.

"fair use" is tighter then just saying "pretty piktore" in the caption when you slap it up on your site.
"Fair use" of an image is for discussing the image or author of the image(or creating a parody), not the content of the image. The photograph itself is the work of "fair use" NOT the subject, essentially the photograph is a dirivativ work of the subject and completely separate from it.
So taking a picture of a blender, and using it on your blender review site, no matter what you talk about would NOT be fair use, since you're not talking about the picture but rather the subject of the picture.
Also, because your image would probably be taken from a competing site, it would fail all fair use, because it is attempting to compete for commercial purposes with the original image's creator.
