How to get approved by Commission Junction without famous Website

I think it's more important to have a website that looks legitimate, rather than a website that is really "famous" or popular. But you need to somehow show them that you are serious enough about what you are going to do. How are you planning to make sales? Maybe you have a huge social media account?

After reading this thread, searched for my CJ account. Tried to login and succeed. I had to activate it as this is around 7 yrs+ old account. I am "logged in" now but network stats kinda processing, so i can't see anything related to my account, such as personal details etc. I am sure they will not let me use their site because so much must have been changed since then.

In reading on their website, I noticed how serious they are. They even tell you not to apply if you don’t already generate significant traffic. For this reason I decided to wait to apply to ca until I get serious traffic. Already wasted $5 applying to Etsy and got denied.
