Yes read first before you leap. Besides Pinterest is really hard in comparison to a few years ago imo. Not easy to make money with affiliate links on Pinterest. But hey, test and go for it to see how it works

I'm interest on animals and fashions for men sir
Not sure there's too many aff programs selling animals online. Not sure tht's a bad thing either...
More relevantly - Pinterest won't allow affiliate links. So focus on creating content that people on Pinterest will like, building an audience, thenfinding ways to segment those people after they click thru to your site and direct them to relevant offers. But selling ivory is bad, m'kay?

fashion for men is probably better, animal care is big business if it's pets, I'd go with fashion personally

Start with research. No reason to put work into something only to find out you messed up somewhere. Take your time.

Here is a small guide:
First - forget Pinterest for a second and choose one niche. Research it. Check other websites in this niche, how they are doing, do they have a lot of followers? How you think you would give value to others? Business is all about giving value and solving someone's problem. Money come later.
After that, you might want to start creating your website and blog. If you want to use Pinterest, you are not allowed to promote affiliate links there directly. So you should write blog posts (that would have affiliate links inside) and promote them on Pinterest. Or if you choose clothing niche, you could make an eCommerce store with affiliate links. And promote only your site on Pinterest.
Later, join affiliate program. Choose one that you like and start to promote it just like written above. I suggest to start with one because it's too overwhelming to join many in the beginning.
Start learning about SEO and implement other social media platforms.
It's very broad guide but hope that helps.
