    Hi BHW!

I tried to find this information in Google but I can't find some relevant statistics about "How many websites got hit by Google updates (Panda, Penguin etc.) and how many of them has recovered?"

All I found are people talking about "hundreds and thousands" of websites and nothing more.

Can you please help me? Is there a way to find some real numbers?

    Thank you very much! ;)

here my suggestion : go to service providers and ask them about it. but chances are that all the service providers would say .. my clients are safe :)

Well it is really only Google that knows those numbers and they probably don't want to help to SEO community out at all, so I would just stick with vague estimate so a lot vs a little to give you a reasonable idea.

Yeah, this is what I thought too. I was asking because at some point I had some doubts about these huge numbers of penalties and I thought that it was a campaign launched by Google to frighten all the webmasters. But, I think the only option I am left is to believe them.
Thank you all very much! ;)
