On August 2014 I started learning how to program Android Games, of course I had a background on coding some other programming languages but I have never make money by coding and I thought that games were the best way to make some. After making lots of simple games and test I started thinking how to make proffit out of it, I could make money out of ads on my games by publishing them on the Google Play Store or I could sell the source code of my games on the internet.

I started selling my code in a website called Codecanyon, I made more than 1600 dollars but then I publish one game that was addictive enough to engage a lot of users. I think is is my best game so far and now I'm making $50 per day just with ads, and I dont have to worry about selling the code, which gives me a lot of problems with customer support and all that kind of stuff.

I've been coding for almost 8 years as a hobby, and now I think I'm prepared to make a living out of this.
Do you wanna see my admob stats??? (Admob is like adsense for apps)

ADMOB STATS (I dont know why I can not post images, help me mods!)

Tell how can I improve my downloads and some marketing tips!
This video is from one of my games in the Version 1, the version version 2 is better!

My advice: If you like something, keep doing it, until you reach your goals. I code since I was 12, I have spent long hours playing with code instead of playing videogames, and now this is my reward.

Hello thanks for the information.
My questions are those:
With which application do you code your games?
How did you promote your game?

thanks

Yes, you dont have the same public as Construct2 apps require to have that software, but you can sell your games there!

I code in pure Java for Android using the Eclipse IDE. I promote my game in forums some app websites and that kind of sites.

You can either build more apps or promote your current app on different mobile networks.

I think someone here on BHW is selling an app install service on FB. Try checking him out since he claims he can get 1-5 cent installs.

Check this out: Apps=$$$$

Great Informational thread by our Super MOD BB.

The game link is in the post. Check it out! And give me some 5 stars pls!

Great! You can earn $2,000 again in this month - November.

I like your game two dots, I just installed it lol. Keep up the great work. Buy installs for your app and make it to top free games on playstore. Once the game becomes popular, you'll earn much more.

Good luck!

Congrats OP, I remember your first few games. Good to see that you are earning from something you enjoy.

I can vouch for this.

I had the same experience a few years ago.. Mostly coding and stuff as hobby but after a while i decided to look into Android applications.
