I use different hashtags for each post, and make them specific. For example, if I'm posting about coffee - I won't use coffee, but coffeelover, or musthavecoffee
It's confusing because IG says hashtags aren't relevant anymore, but I still use them - around 10-15
I type them in the search bar of IG to see how many uses. I mix high and low, but stay away from tags that have millions of uses.
Also, don't use banned hashtags

It's up to your audience and content I guess. I choose some hashtags directly related the post I share and some other related to my niche

I check similar accounts (5k-10k followers) for hashtag ideas, then mix niche-specific ones with a blend of high, medium, and low competition. Usually 10-15 tags, kept specific and switched up each post, avoiding banned ones. IG says they matter less now, but targeted tags still work for me.
