How Can I Create An Affiliate Program On My Site?

I am looking forward to sell an ebook and want to integrate an affiliate program on my site. The affiliate program will be a revshare deal between me and the affiliates who will be interested in selling my ebook. I am planning to make the revshare deal 80/20 or something similar to entice more affiliates to promote my product and the price will be around $9. Could be more or less have not decided yet.

I don't want to go to affiliate networks as it not worth my time and the ebook selling part is not the goal. There will be more to it than an ebook.


Anyone with experience in this can share what steps I need to take to be able to create an affiliate program? What software do I need to have a tracking links and accounts all that stuff for affiliates?

I am not looking for tips for traffic, I know how to handle traffic what I want to know how to create an affiliate program on my wordpress site.

I was searching online and found a couple of plugins what surprises me is can it be that easy? Just a plugin and I am ready to go?

I imagined I would have needed to hire a web developer for that sort of task.

Why not a lot of people doing it?

I can see a lot of potential in this, and I got lots of ideas.

People want the easy road.

Reminds me of the gold rush, those who made money were the companies who sold the shovels.

Millions are, clickbank, jvzoo etc. Lots sell ebooks, it's not new. You can make good money if you do it right and have decent traffic to your site.

I dont want to use clickbank, jvzoo..etc I want to set everything on my wordpress site.
 
In terms of security, these plugins would be fine?
 
personally, I use wp affiliate for my woo commerce websites..

Is there an option to setup a revshare deal. Meaning earning would be split between me and the affiliate?

Lol! I meant selling g ebooks is not new, anyway good luck
Edit: you can use that plugin with woocommerce, read it

Of course, that's a basic function. check the documentation ;)
 
I've used Post Affiliate Pro in the past. It's pretty decent and they will setup everything for you for free. Comes with a free trial IIRC but then can be quite expensive as its a monthly fee.

if you want to learn how to do something go to youtube and type "How to/tutorial [whatever you want to learn]" and im sure someone made a video or even a trainning series about it.
