My website i was using to make money from clickbank has suddenly been removed from google. It dis not have too many quality backlinks but had very good and original content due to which it was ranking very well.

recently my website was down for aroudn 1-2 days because I couldnt renew my domain and suddenly after that all the pages have been removed from google. A few pages stil show they are indexed but are not ranking anywhere at all

Can anyone tell me the reason for this. How can I recover from the problem

How can i check if it has been penalized manually. Does google do that if there are affiliate links

Did you have it added to Webmaster tools? They should have sent you an alert.

Renew the domain and make sure your site is working properly.
Once you're figured the above, share it on social media for a quick re-index.
If your site drooped because you forgot to renew the domain it will be back soon.

no i did not add it to webmasters

thanks for the tip mirrorer

You just need to do what Mirror said above. Renew your domain (Although I wonder why you will let your money making website to expires... We are not above mistakes though) and share it on social media.

If it was in google console, you can ask google to re-index it.

Get more social signlas and focus on unique content keep tracking your site.

Yes you could renew your domain first.
Then don't forget the renewals because it is your money site, and keep track of your site daily.

Always, i mean always use webmaster tools. Bring up some social signals and renew domain...and in a few days you will be back where you left
