Gutenberg Vs. Classic Editor : Your comfort level

I would recommend utilising Gutenberg or at the very least following its progress if you mostly work on a phone or tablet.

While adding complicated aspects to postings to make them more interesting is now as simple as a few clicks, doors have opened to all non-technical people.

Gutenberg is the future. But, I feel working with Classic so much easier. Moreover, adding html, adding css classes and customising things are way easier with more controls.

I think I touched wp last time around in 2014. But anyway, I liked the classic editor when I left wp.

ps i think gutenberg was introduced much later, around at 2018. I do remember trying it out one or two times. No shit i did not like it. :p

Well, I couldn't know this since I'm not American.... Also, isn't Gutenberg free?? Because AFAIK it is free, in which case I still can't fully see the connection lol. But don't bother explaining, I'm sure you were just trying to make a joke

my comfort level is html/php. No need for slow-af CMSs
 
Gutenberg is like microsoft word...when you finished writing and suddenly something is missing for no reason
Gutenberg also make my life difficult, I have wide screen and Gutenberg use all the space, the white bright from Gutenberg
almost killing me at night, I uninstall it and install classic editor, I don't know what this wordpress team thinking, why they just don't
modernize the classic editor as it is??
 
I hate Gutenberg, there are a lot of features missing in WP, instead of adding these they reinvented the editor... in their effort to streamline it they made it harder to use.
once the classic editor is no longer available I will just switch to some other platform.
Time is money, and we don't have time not only to learn but to fight the Gutenberg editor at every single fukin paragraph

I said the very same thing when block editors for content started becoming the norm among new themes.

Block editors are great for everything except articles. Purely from a design standpoint .
 
I'm more comfortable with the Classic Editor.

I know Gutenberg has a lot of bells and whistles and is supposed to make your life easier.

Call me an old-school kind of person, but I prefer the classic editor because it's what I'm used to, and it's more logical to me.

It is also very intuitive.

You know just by taking one look, what goes with what.

And believe me, a lot of people who post manually as I do will be impacted by their personal take on the intuitive tool they're using.

This can and does impact your output as a publisher.

That volume, in turn, will impact your chances of ranking your site on Google.

These two factors go hand in hand.

So, just to be safe, go with the Classic Editor if you prefer that format.
 
Gutenburg is heavy then classic editor because classic editor load faster then Gutenburg. SO I recommend to use Classic editor.
