About a week ago I started a new Facebook page to learn more about growing a social media account. So I picked my niche and gathered quite a bit of 'viral content' from several other pages I was following within my niche.
I planned on doing about 2 posts a day and boosting each post with relevant targeting to the content I was showing. The first day I reached about 100,000 people and racked up about 10k likes. My strategy to increase my following base is to invite all these people that have liked my posts manually. This has proven to be a great strategy, because about 10-15% of all the post likers will convert into followers through inviting them to like your page. With about 10k likes each day I could/should be growing with 1,000 followers each day.
Unfortunately Facebook doesn't let you invite everyone at once, because they have set a limit to it. They won't disclose what the limit is either and after some research it's clear that it is different for every account/situation. I noticed that one day I could invite maybe 50 people and the other day I could do about 300. To make sure I could invite every single liker I decided to make 2 fake accounts and make them page advertisters, so I could invite every liker manually through these fake accounts.
Now the problem is they have put these fake accounts under investigation with the message I should upload my picture, so they can investigate. This sucks, because with these accounts I was able to grow much fast through inviting people, than I could do with just my personal account. Now after a week I'm stuck on 2,500 followers and growing slower than I know I can.
So I was reading a bit about botting and proxies and what not to find a solution to my problem. Anybody out there who encountered the same problem as I did? What was your solution?
For the ones that might be interested I can post my progress once in a while to see if there are any effects to changes made in tactic/strategy
