Got scammed in Twitter, need help

Hey guys.

A Friend said i can ask here for my Problem


A month ago i thought i can buy a bot (EveAIO) over Twitter.
The guy said just PayPal Friends cause its a Programm and Sellers have no protection.
I trusted him.
Payed 500$ .
He blocked me.
I just have the PayPal Email i send tue money on and his Twitter Profil. Are here any guys who Can do something? Also for money?

the only thing u can do is to learn for the next time not to use F & F Option just like that
 
If you used a credit card to make the payment you can file a chargeback with your credit card company. Just tell them the transaction was fraud and unauthorized

Thank you. It was just PayPal wo was linked to my Bank Account.. sadly

Regretfully you're SOL then.

You can try claiming unauthorized with PayPal, but if it's been a few days and you've been logging into your account using your regular IP they won't buy that excuse. They would want to see some proof as PayPal would be the one taking the loss. A credit card dispute the card company takes the loss so PayPal doesn't care.

Where did the money actually come from? Was it paid from your PayPal balance directly, or was it a charge to your bank-issued debit card?

If it was a charge to your debit card, you can bring in all the information and file a chargeback with your bank (which may or may not be accepted). But if it was paid from the PP balance, there's nothing more you can do.

It was from my Bank debit card. But the guy who scammed me buyed instand Amazon gift cards with the money. So the Bank cant do anything i think

If it's through a debit card and not PayPal balance, call the bank. Do a chargeback. It may or may not work but it's worth the shot.

Also when its 30 days ago?
I Think tue only thing PayPal will do is when tue Bank Takes the money back, they will do my Balance-500$

Yes i watched in the terms, when i do this my Balance is - 500$ then.. Fuckmylife

The PayPal account would only go negative if you did Debit > PayPal Balance > Purchase. If you did Debit > Purchase then the chargeback disputes the purchase rather than the PayPal balance load.

30 days ago depends on your bank's dispute policies. If anything I'd still call them up and just openly explain what happened. They can advise you on what to do as it seems as though right now you're not certain as to how the transaction happened. If the money went to your PayPal balance before being sent or if it was sent directly, the bank can look up the transaction and tell you what the case may be. Without knowing that, there's no way for anyone on here to advise you on what to do next.

On the terms of PayPal, they say, when i canxel payment over my Bank, the amaount will - on my PayPal balance

You can contact PayPal first and provide them with the ID that you were given. Usually if you can show you were scammed and there was nothing given to you in return they can reverse the paypal funds back to you.

I cant Dispute it on my bank when i do it over PayPal. When i Dispute it there, they will canxel and then tue same will happen
 
Right, so contact PayPal first, tell them what happened, and Paypal should be able to get the money back for you hopefully.

A chargeback is a very specific administrative process. It is not a PayPal dispute, it is not canceling the transaction, it is a direct reversal of funds. And since the funds went straight from your debit card to the seller, reversing the charges will leave the seller's account in the negative, not yours.

just phone paypal if no joy go to your bank .

tell paypal you receved nothink for your money ...

tell them you got instructions to use friends and family , you dont use computer a lot just done what was told .

never receved anythink back.

if they can not help and no joy , go to your bank and file a un authrised transaction.

transaction was unauthorised becouse item was suppose to be sent to you and nothink was , all transaction was thu paypal.


this forum does has members that sell bots , for all socail media , a app like jarvee might help.

there are others aswell check the misc on this forum.

when a person mention friends and family unless it really is a friend or family run close browser.
