Google Restricts Keyword Planner - Alternatives?!?!

Google has restricted the keyword planner to those with active Adword campaigns.

Alternatives, anyone? Help a girl out. :( I use it frequently, and I'm a sad panda right now.

Google says its a technical glitch I don't know how true.My keyword planner still works and I never have an active campaign on it.

What do you mean by "restrict"? What features are you trying to use but cannot use now? Need clarity before I can help you.
 
I had the same error but then it worked the next day. You still having problems?
 
I've used last night Google Keyword Planner and it worked OK.I don;t have any campaign.
 
This is the 2nd thread that I see that GKP is not working for a lot of people and I can't understand why, because it's working for me under 3 different Gmail accounts with no campaigns at all whatsoever. Hopefully it's a glitch, but otherwise those who are having problems might try using old Gmail accounts to access it, as it works perfectly fine that way.

I noticed the same thing the plural forms of the keywords is the same value which is impossible in the real world of search.They are lumping keywords together.Don't 100 percent trust their keyword planner.

I don't think combining search volumes for plural/non-plural versions will impact that much. Google has been returning results for "semantic" keyword for a while now. So matching the exact keyword no longer is the top priority, but rather context and content that resonate with the keyword is now higher priority.

So if I search for "electric razor", it makes sense to return articles and offer pages for "electric razors" for me as well as "auto shaver" results.
