Fuck DuckDuckGo

Personally, I have no problem with duckduckgo. They market themselves as protecting your privacy, doesn't say anything about great SERP.

If you want great results use google, if you want to protect your privacy use duckduckgo. As simple as that

If you want to "watch online free" something, then DuckDuckGo is your friend. It will show all streaming sites, where they would be DMCA blocked in Google.

Just my 2 cents.

Eh wtf. Duckduckgo has its advantages and disadvantages over others. For instance, sometimes yes ddg has worse results than something like Google. Google produces way more relevant resutls (due to bigger search volume). But as others said, for streaming sites or torrents ddg is amazing, even better than Google, because I think google censors out things that are copyright breakable material sometimes. You say all they say to be different is that they are private, bro, in todays day and age thats a HUGE plus point. Not many services actually offer that sort of thing in the same industry at the same level of power.

That being said, One thing i would like ddg to do is maybe take more answers from google on normal shit (non streaming/pirating shit) without compromising any of the privacy. Basically "catching up". But I'm not sure thats possible.

Us old folks remember that that's how Google started, just Yahoo then. Give them a chance to grow. They may take over and turn evil too.

I remember using WebCrawler and MetaCrawler for projects in school. I just found out they both still exist. This screenshot brings back memories
