Thanks for this! When you do your "target group", do you target certain countries?

I'm new to facebook marketing, just started reading on it but it looks cool. Do you know of any resources for a beginner like me?

I didn't have any problems with amazon. I did however get some reports on another Fan page and that cause that reported URL got banned:)

But cloaking really isn't that hard. Just use one of your old domains and make a full-page iframe. I noticed that URL shortening service doesn't help if the domain is blocked. At least when using the biggest ones goo.gl, bit.ly, tinyurl...

You can't create an ad and not target a country:) If you wish to target people worldwide just chose more countries but I would strongly suggest to brake the ads down to smaller targeting groups for better conversion and performance analysis.

For beginner guides just search this forum and Google and read all articles and posts about Facebook marketing, tips for targeting and so on;) It's all there, you don't need to buy any ebooks.

Oh don't worry, I was not planning on buying any e-books ;) I was looking for some really basic stuff like how everything is calculated within facebook, where to go to create the ads, etc. But I can probably figure everything out by searching the forum, thanks!

Interesting tutorial. I've also tried one small campaign 4 days ago... I was using same (spencers) method... You can see screenshot here:

Yes, this ss what I need to be concerned with. But I'll just need to cloak the URL or do some re-directing from one of my domains.

Interesting to see the hot chick put up against an ideal image of your demographic in scuba gear.

It's common for people to respond to close images of themselves, or to be able to see

themselves one way or another in the imagery.

Hi guys, I did some facebook promotion a while ago using a coupon, I used my paypal, as funding backing.

Then I disconnected.

Now I want to start new promotion campaigns but, In any way I am trying the account doesn't accept my paypal no more.

Any Idea?

I did have a period in my FB advertising learning curve, when I tried to cheat with coupons several times. I created a new profile, added a coupon and PayPal email and submited an ad. I changed my primary PayPal email each time of course. It worked 4-5 times, then after a while I tried again and FB rejected my PayPal email, even if I added a new one to the same account.

I think the reason for this is that your PayPal account name and address doesn't change so eventually Facebook will blacklist your account name and every email you use with it.

It could be sooner, like in your case. Try to close PayPal account and open a new one. Even though your data will be the same, the account won't be.

Also, there really is no need to play with the coupons because you lose many data switching account like that. It's good to have all your ad performance data in one or 2 accounts so you can analyze it easier.

hey, once the ads is going it's a good idea to lower the bid?

By the way I managed to add my credit card to the fb account.

I am already rolling.

You can slowly lower it, as long as you keep getting impressions and clicks.
 
1) How to monetize fans in such low amounts, that is 40 50 60...

1. Of course you can't monetize 50 fans. This campaign was newer pushed forward and therefore not monetized. It's a school-like example of how to setup ads, target people, and place bids. I also didn't blur out anything so you can see all my initial testing and how I determined my winning ad. Now it's up to you to find a similar passionate market that can be targeted on Fb:) Good luck.

2. I remember I bought mine here: adcouponcode.com but if you wish to support BHW community, search this forum. I'm sure you'll find someone who is selling coupons, probably even cheaper.
