Google updated on 4th Sep, not sure about penguin or panda.
    More chance to be penguin.
Plus the 30th July update, we could expect once update per month.
Find above chart, it is from google webmaster tool. depressing line.jpg

My own counter statistics also support this chart.

This site is a e-commerce site which have over 20k pages.
My plan is to move the punished domain away and configure with another domain.

Just wonder will this bring the punishment to he new domain?
As the new site will have absolute duplicate content as the old site.(of course, i will first remove the old site)
The question is when should i remove the punished site and when to publish the new domain with old content?
By the way, the so called old site been published in middle of June which from another even older domain been hit by penguin.

Thank you guys for whatever your suggestions.

    Jared

I left SEO for Good and I now realize there are millions of other things that are better than SEO.

SEO is unpredictable and unstable and I already said this 100th time by now.

There are tons of other ways to get traffic, my favorites being media buys & big scale mailing.

my site moved from 11 to 8, then to 2 for its main keyword over the past 3 days. I haven't been doing anything "unnatural". just tweets, the occasional pins here and there, tumblr posts about every other 3 days (those tags can get you in trouble. each tag counts as a backlink so be careful), and some message board marketing in intervals of 4 to 5 days apart. traffic from g00gle has increased by >500% according to google analytics "intelligence events".

That's the biggest problem in IM. Most people think its only about SEO. Well SEO is for sure a big part of IM but not only part.

    There are many other things and to name a few;

Lead Generation, Gaining Authority through social media, Product creation, Offline marketing, web design, PPC, FB fan pages and the list can keep on going and going.

    Good luck.

Still love SEO... do it right and you'll still come out on top--at least from what I've seen.

My rankings have been thriving , I've been doing seo for 6 years now and never plan to do anything else.
s.e.o is not for everyone and the less competition the better! :)

Btw judging from the op's screen shot it looks like his websites traffic went to hell way before September 2012, on the 4th of sept however it just tanks again. Judging from this the op's seo efforts are the reason for his traffic failure.

Lol... Its not I have left SEO everyone will. I already said that before there will be a lot of BH'ers to increase your competition.

No matter what everyone say, its a cat and mouse game. Why always play gaming the system and not develop a solid business plan that once established can pay for years to come and of course that wont be dependent on Google.

    Cheers and Good luck.

Lots of people are reporting sudden movements in their websites, but there is no indication that this is anything but normal SERP behavior, now exaggerated by mass hysteria and fear of the next google animal.

Websites get punished and de-indexed without Penguin all the time, google has many things in place to punish abusers on a day-to-day basis. Sounds like you're going through something similar.

Putting the same old crap on new domains clearly isn't working

A new site with new content that Google likes will solve the search rankings problem

Driving traffic to your existing site through facebook, twitter, forum signatures, blog commenting, etc. will mean you don't have to do anything new to it

If you got a product that can sell, Don't need SEO to make any money. Got some crappy MFA site, you need seo and traffic for money. Simple really, and more effective to cut costs and gear for the best.

Sure, it can be that you do BOTH ways, but your main goal is to make a sustainable business model right? For "games" you simply can't seo that shit and have your magic numbers pop up. You got to go into media buys on multiple networks, press releases, distribution models, live events like PAX, contests and giveaways, etc. You get all the BS from people selling SEO service that the only effective way is to just buy their service. That is merely 1 part of like 14 interchangeable parts that come alongside timing to get somewhere. If I just simply relied on SEO to sell most of my products, I would be a broke S.O.B. just like 80% of the people on here that aren't jrvip or donor status.

Moral is, if you got something like a Web Hosting company you need to do media buys, CPA, CPM, PPV, etc and mix it up NOT just rely on Google to give you customers. You could however do Adwords, but you need to know that your audience is going to come from forums and blogs where angry people are wanting to switch to something new. Your affiliates are going to be pulling from these types, and that is how you will be generating sales. You won't just get bulk from web hosting search simply because people don't know you, and don't trust you. Even with avid salescopy you need to save Google SERPS as a last resort, and only a small part of your main strategy.

If you can't think like that, maybe that is why you jump at Google updates. That whole information resource above was about how NOT to rely solely on Google and their crappy game changers. You want top for a term, go buy the clicks from Google searches. anyone using Adblock Plus isn't your idea target customer anyway. Those kind of people are soo damn bitchy that it only makes sense to either avoid them or lick their ass for the pennies they toss your way.

If it was a google update that caused the issue, there's a good article here about how to beat Panda and Penguin and some useful tips here.

    True story.

And the biggest problem about focusing 100% on SEO is neglecting the human oriented value of content, social media, brand engagement, design, etc. Sure, SEO is a part of it but it's not everything! Even if you get to the top of search engine results, you still need to CONVERT traffic!
