Hey everyone!

So I've been running a few different trial campaigns after a few weeks of studying FB ads but my results are.... awful.

I have no clue what it is that I am doing wrong.

I have tried three different types of campaigns both CPC, and CPM with targets between 400,000 people to 4.4M people.

The ad titles are questions, with answers and call to action in the description, and the photos are appealing with people in them.

Its for a christian university so I can't use inappropriate things such as cleavage etc.

I have attached numbers, and analytics for the three separate campaigns.
Each campaign is runnings 36 variations of ads.

If you have any advice please help!

Last year I ran a single fb ad for this same company that was optimized for likes, and currently its doing better than everything i've tried.
(which is very sad.)

Also if you need any other info I am happy to provide.

The point of these ads is to increase their fan base.
Typically I do a $10 per day for one month per campaign, but since im running 3 campaigns till I find the best one I'm only running $5 daily per campaign... but they are not even reaching those budgets...

I think they are not targeted to the right audience.I have sent you a PM.Check and reply.

FB - as a PPC network - is excellent but only for specific niches. Unlike search based networks, like Adwords & Bing, where users are actually looking for your service, with FB targeting is way different and more difficult.

I'm pretty sure your niche is not good for FB ads.

I really don't know about buying media, but shouldn't you also target mom and dads who are looking for a school for their child, instead of directly the child ?

I've worked on over 250 FB Ad Campaigns - I do this full-time. Reach out to me on Skype if you need any help or want it managed.

You need to try new images, even if you think they're good. Even photos that are not of people. Photos can sometimes be even more important than your copy in Facebook Ads. Split test with at least 5 different new photos and see what happens.

I have a hot girl niche and after 4 attempts I managed to get a 3 CTR. My ad pic was a hot girl with a red border arround. I targeted 11 million people who love women, are 18+ and love cars (if I targeted more my ctr was lower). My daily budget was 20 € and I realized the ad needs 2 days to get fully launched.
Hope to help ;)

Are you more interested in getting likes? or leads?

I have a headline for likes you should test. Send me pm if you're interested.

Looks like a targeting problem (but could be anything really). You say the purpose is to "increase their fanbase"; however, the ads sound like you're recruiting. You need another angle to reel them in.

Age targets 16-24?? That might be a problem too. 16-18 y/o are still in high school and may be looking for college options but 20+, engaged, etc....They are just different audiences, imo.

Are you targeting high schools? There are usually kids and parents connected on FB to the high school pages.
