Ezinearticle Assasins Needed To Put Out a Hit !

Ok people here it is.....

For a while now im been making attempts to be king of the hill for a certain phrase in google using ezine articles. I know this can be achieved as the 2nd and 3rd placings for the phrase are taken by 2 different authors at ezine articles.

Ok so what the hell do I want you ask ????

I want to reverse engineer there success.

The 2nd placing has already hit most viewed status so due to his massive amounts of internal links im thinking that he has a mile on me......

So instead i want to Wack the person running 3rd place & secure it for many months / years to come ...... I know this is possible as this guy isnt most viewed and hist article is pritty new..... His site he links to in the author bio doesnt have a high PR.... Ive re written there articles a #%^$%^ load of times and tried different anchor text and still no luck....

Please help BHW - How can i put out a hit on this unlucky 3rd runner.....

Ill keep you all posted with my success and mishaps regards taking out this unfortunate victim !!!!

open phrase has 3,470,000 results
Using "" has 292,000

Not to be a jerk here nut do you really think someone who knows how to do this will be willing to specify on an open forum how to do it?

And as for general tips on achieving this (black hat and white hat methods), you can surely find a lot of help in the following sections .. I know I have

Hmmm not the response i was looking for !

What can i use to study the linking structure of an article ?
(external sites linking to the article etc)

Is there a way of me know what im going up against.

Ive used articles that have keyword densitys of 2% up to 4 %, used different titles, anchors and metas.

Would it be safe to say it would now come down to the articles linking structure ?????

Just follow the links in the author's article resource box, make note of every site being used, how they're linked, the keywords being exploited and duplicate it.

There are more than a few good threads on this forum about article marketing. Start with the ones boomboomer gave you, then search on "article marketing" for some more. But don't just read it, use it, experiment with it. It can be a lot of work, but when done right it's well worth it.

it's not that hard to do really. all you need to do is

1. target the same keyword that the article is targeting.
2. replicate the article, but make sure not to make a carbon copy. add your own flavor.
3. get some backlinks to your article. you can do this by linking other articles to the one you want ranked, posting comments on blogs/forums with a link back to your article,etc. the higher PR/Alexa rank the pages you are linking form have the better. Social bookmarking works great for links as well.

this works like a charm, but make sure you don't copy articles and don't spam when you are getting links.

Thanks alot for your advice.

When creating backlinks to the article on ezinearticles that i have written, would you suggest using anchor text for the targeted keyword when reffering to the article when posting to social bookmarking sites and forums ?

Actually, you don't want your article out-ranking your primary site for the keyword, so when building backlinks to my feeder articles/squidoo pages and etc. I always use related anchor text but not the exact same as what's ultimately linking back to my site.

For example, if I want my site to rank for "red widgets" then I'd write an article targeting a related term such as "plastic red widgets" to publish on eZineArticles, and of course I'd link from that article to my site with the anchor text of "red widgets".

Now, when I begin building links to the article I'll use the related term of "plastic red widgets" in the anchor text for those. So basically you get a ton of links pointing to your article with the anchor text "plastic red widgets", and then your article links to your site with the related target keyword term "red widgets".

The idea is to build strength for your articles which will ultimately flow through to your site, but you don't want to have your articles out-ranking your site for your primary keywords...which can happen if you're not careful.

Also, don't overlook some of the other article directories too, they may not have the same direct juice as eZineArticles, but they offer author's RSS feeds (which eZine doesn't) which can be used to build hundreds of instant links to your articles using RSS Submit or a similar tool. Not too good for direct traffic, but definitely of SERPs value.

GoArticles, ContentCaboodle, SearchWarp are just 3 off the top of my head that give you an RSS feed as an author with them. I think they all also let you post a "homepage" link in your author's bio too, so there's another free backlink at each.
