Expired Domain Problem? Safe or not!

I am starting a niche website and all the kw research are done. Now i am ready to buy my domain. But i am thinking an expired or deleted domain for seo value. But i am scared if the domain is penalized or not.

Can someone Please help me take the decision. I will be grateful .

just buy one off @Nargil since he does all the safety checks, ive never had a bad domain from him.

you can check backlink/ref domain from ahrefs and history from wayback machine........

I don’t see it as an issue with your SEO assuming that it passes the Copyscape test. However, you are opening up yourself to issues should the orginal writer figure out what you are doing (though admittedly highly unlikely). Also, if the content was so good, why is the site gone? I like what you are doing, however, I would say that they should be your base articles that you do complete re-writes or major edits in order to make the content that much better than the original.
Will that process be as fast as just copy/paste? Of course not. But will be faster than starting off from scratch, particularly if you are new to the market.

It's helpful to buy an expired domain. You just have to check the backlink profile of the domain carefully.

So you can be now confident before buying any domain!
