Hey guys,

Most of us are using the exact search on G to determine the amount of competition.

However, if i check trough Intitle or Inurl i see very different results obviously as the exact search can be anywhere in the competitions site.

What is your preferred method to check between these three and why if i may ask.

I can understand that if i would combine these results, the lower the outcome the better the chance of gaining good results right?

You use all 3:

Exact Search - Used to determine the amount searches on that exact keyword

InUrl - How many sites have the keyword in the Url

InTitle - How many sites have the keyword in the title

The G Tool keyword tool will show you if the KW is worth trying to rank for based on how many people are searching for the KW. The other two will show you your competition.

Hi Pinkblitz,

Thanks for the reply.

Just for the record, i noticed you saying about the exact search to determine the amount of monthly searches. I know that :D

But i was just wondering what people type in on the G searchbar like:
Code:
http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&source=hp&q=%22keyword%22&aq=0&aqi=g5&aql=&oq=%22keyword%22&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=905e9081899b75b1&biw=1024&bih=578

TY
