Does this tool exist ????

I have an idea for a tool which I'm pretty sure must exist out there somewhere. I'm just not sure where.

If its doesn't exist then maybe it should

The tool would ideally be desktop based but server based would do.

You would provide it with a number of KW's and it would go out and find blog posts from various sources eg articles sites, YouTube, Yahoo Answers, Other blogs, etc - pretty much like Caffeinated Content does.

You can then go through each post it has found and if suitable - edit/tweak it and then post directly into your blog.

If desktop based it would be a very quick way of adding new posts each day. especially if you have a large number of blogs as you wouldn't have to sign-in each one, grab content, edit the posts and then submit.

It would make it even better if you could auto ping the posts you submit and/or twitter them.

Any comments or suggestions ?

Have you done a manual simulation of this, to see how many 'good' posts you can find? My only fear for this would be the answer doesn't make sense because there is vital information in the question (YA) or in previous posts (forum?). If you only found 5-6 good posts after an hour of sifting, it may not work out that well. I could very easily be completely wrong, though. Just my opinion.

I guess the posts you get will be no different in quality from those picked up by CC and other similar auto posters.

Ya know, I HAVE seen something very similar that is a newer product and because of it being so new I have forgotten the name. It can pull from RSS feeds and let you edit the posts before they get posted or just post from the feeds directly. If I remember what it is or find it again, I'll let you know, but it IS a desktop app that helps with autoblogging it says, but since I am happy with the setups I have, I didn't bother trying it out.
