Does the "Show More" button have any effect on SEO??

I recently started a coupons website. In the store or brands page, before the coupons appear, I added some lines of content about this brand. Sometimes this description is long, and on mobile pages and even on desktop , it takes all the page, and you need a few scrolls to reach coupons. Today I added a "jump to coupons "button
But I'm thinking of adding an HTML code to fold this description part into a few lines. a show more button or show less to reduce the size of this section

so what do you think about it ? Based on your experience, does it effects SEO ?

I don't think a normal Show More button is a problem by itself. The important part is whether the content is still available to search engines in the page source.

I'd recommend including plain <a href> links for paginated content, even if you use “load more” for users and javaScript to update the URL (via pushState) as new content loads, making each portion linkable.

I’d use the Show More. It shouldn’t be an SEO issue as long as the content remains accessible in the HTML. It also makes the page much easier to use.

I would consider using Show More / Show Less for better user experience on mobile devices, but I don’t think it can negatively impact SEO if the content is still accessible to crawlers.
