Does it worth?

Hey guys,
This is my first post here, even though I have an account for a long time.
So, here it goes.
I found an e-mail submit offer. It's about a gift card.
The exact term has 1000 US visitors each month.
But there are more related keywords with 300-400 visitors each. All of them have low competition, and the exact match .com of my keyword isn't regitered.
The offer pays 1.50$/lead.
So, do you think it worth it to struggle to take it to the first page?
How much do you estimate that it will bring me if it gets in the top 3 on Google?
I don't have that much SEO experience, but I know the basics and a bit more. Also, I think I'll use wordpress.

I think it's too targeted for me. I would rather have something a bit more broad. And you are limited to sales honestly.

these offers usually require more than just an email, with the amount visitors it will be hard to find people who will continue the whole thing. Like DSM said it is too targeted to even work.
