Does high karma still matter on Reddit today ?

I'm going to run a live test for you guys. Split test.

Results will be shared on another post. Stay tuned.

A test that shows the different resutls of High Karma aged accounts vs Low Karma Aged Accounts
And a super active account

Activity + karma + age = the best.

did u find a way to how work with that? They basically made impossible to do any commenting marketing ...
Commenting marketing isn't dead; the brute-force method of it is. You bypass this by building micro-authority. Instead of blasting comments across 50 different subreddits with one purchased account, you must dedicate one perfectly cloaked profile to one specific niche.

it doesn't work either, we tried to warm up for specific subreddits

Then your execution was flawed, not the strategy. The vast majority of operators fail the warm-up phase because their behavioral velocity still reeks of marketing intent. Dropping generic, low-effort agreements or artificially pacing your replies triggers the automated spam filters almost instantly.

I think Reddit has become more focused on engagement and relevance rather than just account age or karma. If the content triggers discussion, it tends to do better now.

In my opinion, a high karma score is one of the most valuable aspects of a Reddit account. It boosts your credibility and makes it easier to engage with larger and more active communities across Reddit.

Yes, high Reddit karma still matters, but it's no longer the biggest ranking factor.

Karma is more like a trust signal. It helps with restrictions, better account credibility, and smoother participation, but the actual engagement usually comes from content quality, subreddit fit, posting habits, and how well you interact with people. i have also noticed that accounts actively participate in discussions build better visibility over time. Reddit users are good at recognizing accounts that are there only for self-promotion.

Yes I think it does, also more importantly the age of the account. Reputation matters and you can have more authority in some subreddits by having more karma

Karma is useful for getting past some subreddit restrictions, especially for newer accounts.

You mean all the best subs pretty much

Everybody's tight on karma farming and bots now

And those without rules, ifyou post with a new accont and get karma, you'll get banned lol

It's a clusterfuck

I think reddit engagement depends on several things, including timming, content quality, subreddit activity, and how people respond to the post.

Karma is probably important too... in my opinion... and right now it's important CQS for trust from reddit...

I agree. High karma still helps a little, but relevant and engaging posts seem to perform much better.

Hi everyone,

I always believed that once a Reddit account builds high karma, it automatically gets better reach and engagement on posts. But recently, I have started noticing something different.

Some newer accounts are getting more comments and upvotes compared to older accounts with much higher karma. This makes me fee like Reddit might now be focusing more on other factors like content quality, activity level and how relevant the post is to the subreddit.

Has anyone else noticed this shift or is it just my experience ?
Hey. I have a 3-month account with good karma. If there are any gigs you have got, ping me. Sorry for if my comment is irrelevant.
