Do you post articles as pages or posts?

Saw a thread that mentioned this and said to use pages instead of posts, but never went into detail on why. Are you supposed to post articles as pages or posts?
 
There isn't a huge difference. People usually prefer pages because of the URL structure. The main disadvantage of pages is that it's a bit harder to interlink your content as you have to do it manually (this depends on your theme / plugins).

it's personal preference and it has no impact on SEO at all. Google will index it the same.
 
I usually use pages, but for time sensitive content it would be wise to consider posts. I've got the feeling that Google understands difference between Wordpress page and post, but in general it shouldn't technically matter for SEO.
 
pages are supposed to be your main "pages", more permanent and representative of the site; posts have a bit more of a "news" aspect.
 
It was surely the right answer to use pages instead of posts :) it will help to divide content!
 
I use posts for articles and pages for contact, about, and etc...

SEO wise it doesn't really make a difference tbh.
