Digital marketing agency brainstorm

Hey everyone it's DD here once again

So as they say when belief comes to fruition wonders happen. My beliefs came to fruition with mind numbing hard work and I'm still slogging for the past 9 hours. That being said, I have been approached to start up a digital marketing agency. I have an investor who is willing to invest 50% and in return offers me 50% as well as his database of clients. However, he has no idea about stating up this sort of business and came to know about me through a client. I shall be managing the operations and finance and he will be handling clients because he has been in the field of oil and gas therefore his clients are mainly finance based as well as other commodity based companies.
What services does a good digital marketing agency offer that should be incorporated? I ask for some brainstorming ideas that'll help not only myself but us all
For now, I have thought of the following:
Website construction
Social media management
Online reputation management
Logo
Search Engine optimization
Content management system
Domain registration and hosting
Short turnaround time
Mobile optimised websites
Dedicated account manager
Online advertising,campaigns and management

I plan on hiring a few staff members who are skilled for each service if not a package deal.i shall be managing the overall operations and finance management (BA -banking & finance-university of Reading). I'm very optimistic even though I'm well aware of the endless stride that it'll entail. Hopeful and thankful nonetheless

From the whole list I mostly see web-development services, but very little marketing-related services

It's not hard or long to build a site, but who is going to come to this site what will they do?

Let's say you get a client that has oil - you can sell him $50k site, but what if no-one comes to that site?
Okay, it's SEO optimized and #1 for the keyword, but what if the keyword it's ranked for has only 100 searches per month? This does not mean even 1 will buy.

I think that your main focus should be on a marketing, not web-development, as web-development is pretty easy, in most cases it can be done fairly cheap or even be outsourced. Depending on what type of site and the content it will be you will need a different kind of SEO, traffic, and advertising.

I would mostly focus on:

- SEO
- Traffic (Free/Paid)
- Social Media
- Advertising
- Monetization
- Analytics

You will need good contracts. Payroll will kill you before you get started making money. You should consider outsourcing your digital marketing work to a qualified US-based company who will white label for you. Be careful about outsourcing your work to non-US based operations, the quality level that the individual affiliate marketer is willing to accept to save a few dollars will cost you clients after the first reports come out.

You're right but people here, believe it or not, are just now beginning to understand SEO and why it's even needed. They think it's all nonsense and to educate them is another road to hell but it's all fine since we get to be the so called pioneers bringing SEO to the middle east lol. All said and done, you're right and I shouldn't stereotype all clients that way. I'll do more studying and research on marketing. Thank you!

I agree, there's no need to get into the detail of SEO, especially if you build a site you can include SEO in the price and optimize content/pages etc. in the process.

that what i am going to start , website promoting traffic and leads .

i got some really powefull application ready .

i think it make a lot of money promotting websites and getting leads for business much more money well needed .

the best part, it all 95% software done ....

believe me it better then getting involved in seo projects drive you mad.

ill have to go down the socail route aswell , as socail so inportant these days .

my business will be done around packages like on the bst but all website automated .

i will charge monthly packages only for monthly income .

i am doing a business plan first as that helps in any business .

my whole business concept will be based on specefic traffic keywords and leads no matter what postion your website is.

becouse most application have got logs , that going to help me in proving my job was done .

full online promotions 100% traffic and leads .(( get seen the right way ! , with google keep changing it ways maybe it the only way !))

why so many services just seo optimization can earn 4k a month 1 client on a 12/m contract , but ill warn you know it a boaring and time consuming job ...

and that price is real was quoted only 4 days ago from a website agency .

drive any one nuts seo.

logo design another long process in getting the dam thing copywritten , the work easy but takes forever getting the logo copywritten.(( ))

domain registration and hosting ,
i dont think there any real hard cash in that anymore so many teach there self and use free services or cheap ones, not profitable enough .

website construction, you mean website design guessing , to many low services and themes sold to cheap , it really hard to earn with this sorry it over satuated and very low costing these days , just low cash .

socail media management good one can earn a lot , untill they relise it a bot lol , but therw many profitable ways to earn .

cms work not bad , can get a hourly income on each job , but it a real business on it own, £80/hr what charged in uk .

mobile optimised websites , are normal these day , sorry this is part of your website contrution business a sub caragory, guessing.

online advertising hopefully you mean, adwords , bing and fb , good business idea , i think buy the certs would help , in the misc .

that a very scarry subject and advertising such promisess usally start arguments upon workload , please think hard using that with advertising .

I agree. I was thinking of putting together all these services and making a package out of it. People here are so ignorant about online stuff you have no idea. Can you imagine the going rate for a website construction, hosting, logo and content is $30,000 according to the local market here. The problem is no one speaks English here and they don't know about online presence and it's importance. I won't be charging that number though. I want a reasonable price point whereby I may have monopoly.

As in, a person to handle individual clients as per their need. The account manager can be contacted directly for any complaints, troubleshooting etc. It's just a glorified way of saying, you're our priority and can contact us directly for any work related concern.

The sad part is, people here will pay out their noses for a website but if I tell them about SEO and charge let's say $4k monthly, they won't be up for it. Reason being, they don't know about SEO at all and it's like teaching them a whole new religion lol. Nonetheless, I suppose a presentation can be given whereby the importance of SEO can be shown and established. Thanks again
