Creating Web 2.0 PBN still worth the work?

Hello Guys,
i have found here a lot of Guides about how to creat a web 2.0 PBN.
The Problem is, this Guides are from 2018 before Google does the latest "medic" update..

So now my Question,
is it still worth the work to creat a "own" Web 2.0 PBN?
Or should i better creat my own PBN-Network with real expired Domains?

Im also building Links via guest posts btw.

Would be happy if anyone can help me with this Questions.

You're mixing terms up.
Web2s are still useful, but NOT a PBN. A PBN is a collection of expired domains you own.

Do them both.

Web 2.0s and PBNs, both are useful in their owns. Do a healthy mix of them. Never have just one type of links to your sites, build out all that you can lay hands, just make sure they don't look & feel spammy

Web2 based on expired domains with good backlinks works.
Web2 based on metrics alone rarely works.

First id like to say thank you very much for your help!
How many Web 2.0 should i built probably?
Should i make my Web 2.0 stronger with some Backlinks?
When yes, should i build this Backlinks by myself or better buy here a serious service?
And how many Backlinks would you recommend?
I know it depends on the niche, so let's say it's a medium / strong niche where i have still build some links via guest posts...
Or are expired web2.0 better thank new self created from the effort?
Last but not least, should i better build this links to my start page or to some postings?

If you answered these questions you would help me a lot!!!

Expired web2.0's perform better than new web2.0's.
If you start with new web2.0's you can build a second tier. You can build some cheap pbns as second tier. Web2.0's will filter most spam.

And you build as many as you need.
Mix it up with other links and keep going.

So if i creat a new web 2.0, you mean that i have to creat tier 1 Links to this Web2.0 and make the Tier 1 Links stronger with some tier 2 cheap PBN Links?
Or did i have understand this wrong?
I have some expired Tumblr Accounts, they are easy to scrape, but which Web2.0 also worth the work?
And should the Expired Web2.0 be relevant to my niche or it doesn't matter?

Looks like you're better off starting with an established BHW service provider.

Just head to Marketplace and you can easily find services with good reviews and up to 50% discounts. Don't think you can match those prices by doing these yourself.

Ask the provider for samples and what would work best for your site. If you have concerns, update this thread.

For a strong niche though, you should probably not focus too much on these links.

When building a PBN one of the many things you have to take into consideration s that it looks natural. So, based on that is perfectly fine to have both top level domains and web 2.0 pointing links to your money site, as both are a huge part of the web. Mix them, knowing that a link from a blog built over an expired domain will probably weight more than one from a blog created in a new web 2.0 property. Still, both are important and will help you creating a more natural link profile.

Your web2.0's are tier 1.

For expired blog tumblr and weebly are the most worthed.

I think they are good to diversify the type of backlinks your site is having... For example, if all the backlinks comes from same type of site , it wont look natural
