Create WEB2.0 Structures Yourself - A Simple Method

Thanks for all the great information Scritty!

I had a quick question about widows live writer. It is a great time saver, but there are many web2.0 properties, perhaps the majority of them, that wont work with WLW unfortunately.

Is there any other blogging tool that you use, or do you just do it the old fashioned way by logging in and posting manually?

Thanks again for all the priceless information!

Allen

Posterous helps a bit - and writing a quick log in bot also helps (My M$ keyboard has the second "alt" set of macro keys set up to log into 6 of my favourite sites). It took about 20 minutes to set up, and saves about 10 minutes a day

Preparation is vital... shortcuts, macros understandong how many times to press "tab" on each site to jump through the fields.
It's all second nature to me now, but took some time and practice (a few weeks)

Sure commercial WEB2 spamming tools will be quicker..when they work, but they will also feck it up a lot as well. Factor that and their cost, and there really is little in it other than personal preference.

Google will never penalize someone for opening a blog and writing lots of unique posts.

Well said that man.

I never spin on my own websites or on the high quality 2.0's that surround it. I do with AMR ect - but then you's have to - or hire dozens of writers.

Google LOVES sites with a ton of high quality unique content...why wouldn't they?

No amount of Panda's is going to change that.

Scritty

(The irony - "Panda" perhaps the one animal in the world that the human kind has actually saved from extinction - left to it's own devices it would have died out generations ago, and Google adopt it for their hoop-jumping algorithm changes...nice analogy Matt..nice analogy)

Just wanted to say thanks again Scritty for this post. I dusted off my headset mic and started using it. Wow, did a 400 word article in about 15 mins this morning. Makes it a lot more fun to 'write' stuff.

What I do is read/research a topic and make notes. Then I come back a day later (or more, sigh) and organize the notes into groups. Then I use my mic/headset and record my article. Works really well.

So, if you have not tried that option, consider it because I for one like it a lot better than writing by hand.

JC.

p.s. I thought the Panda name came from the name of the Google employee who crafted the idea for what Panda does.

It has come to my notice that Hubpages and Squidoo have become very spam protective, rejecting everything that remotely has to do with obscure niches. Unfortunately, diet pills for example are a current project of mine.

The problem is that I prefer web 2.0 where multiple categories are available. With squidoo these are called lenses and with hubpages they're hubs. This way I was planning on grouping all diet pill products on every web 2.0 (because they are relevant topics after all) giving the web 2.0 even more juice.

Are there any other blog like web 2.0's that allow for different categories?
I know wordpress/blog.com allow for multiple pages which kind of does the job.(but not really, because the pages are static.)

Anybody else have more suggestions?

PS: Reading a little back on the thread I noticed FuryKyle also had a question in this category. (one page back)

I have done a little research and came across Wizzley,Weebly and blinkweb which are similar as in that you can create subpages which allows for grouping all of your relevant niches in one web 2.0 for link juice.
Now I hope they aren't strict cops like Squidoo. Going to look for more of these kind of web 2.0's

Hey Scritty.

Might you share that 'alt' key macro / script, please?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry bud - not really a macro in the programming sense. I use a M$ Sidewinder X6 keyboard. Just press a button and record a macro - press again to finish.

S1 Name
S2 Email
S3 Bio (over 400 characters - not a problem)
etc etc

Most sites it's just

TAB, S1, TAB, TAB, S2, TAB, S3 ......

5 seconds later you press return and wait for the email confirmation. Job done in maybe 8 seconds tops.

Scritty/Ifanafi,

You should check out autofill forms -> http://autofillforms.mozdev.org/
It is a mozilla plugin. You can create a profile for a form on a page and then save it. Then when you come back to the page (like a registration page), you press Alt-J and it will auto fill in the entire form with the data saved in the profile. You can export and import the profiles too. It supports regex expressions too. I use it a lot and it really saves time.

Hey Scritty
Thansk and Rep given

I have been creating web 2.0's but not the way you tell here :) It is really awesome. I want to ask that, should I create new accounts on the web 2.0 sites or I should only create a new blog inside that account?

Thank you again :)

There are so many different ways on various platforms to properly seo your content, using tags, video, voting modules, about me,rss, bookmarks etc.
There may be a lot of different ways, but there is always a best most effective way.

What specifically do you do to use tags/video/voting/rss that is more effective than other people?

I wish it was 2600, but yeah it's 260.

In my niche, automotive parts, any kw w/ 1000+ searches monthly is dominated by pages w/ PR2+.

Never had any luck ranking a PR0 page on 1st page of Google among PR2+ pages.

I would target a keyword if it has 4 or more stars in traffic travis no matter what the traffic. Don't waste your time on ones with less than 1000. Right now in front of my I have a keyword with 165000 exact searches/mo and has 4 stars...so you should be able to find 1,000. Pm me if you want to pay me to find you some.

Scritty, thanks for this whole thread. I spent the whole day reading it and writing all of the below questions for you.
P.S. It's my birthday today, so your answers are my present, thank you! :P

How would google know what email address I'm using when I sign up for web 2.0's? Are you saying I need a different one for each web 2.0 I sign up for? Why would I delete it after 3 months, how would that help?

So sign up for web 2.0's & fill out profiles and add an article to each of them without a link, right?
Why can't we add a link at the same time?

When you do link out from a web 2.0 is it always via the last paragraph in a resource box type fashion?

Three days later, I logged back in and put in the ?banker? piece, and the video. The banker piece has three links in it. Two are self-serving (one to my main URL and want to and in a page of my website) and a third is to a general authority site in the field. You get away with three links as you have a multiple post piece

I'm assuming that the site itself will not think your posts are spam if you do them in different days? Did someone test this to see that it really matters?

How do I know which web 2.0's allow you to put multiple posts? I've never even submitted a web 2.0 manually, I just hired them out, and they were single spun articles. So I'm pretty confused on this process.

Can I hire Barney Rubble to write my bedrock piece?

Why does adding a video add value to the web 2.0 article?

What do you mean add a video?

Add a link to a youtube video or is there actual click here watch a video in your article? How do you add the video, and how does it help?

why do you write an article about "some fictional person and the sort of dumb stuff they get up to?"

Do you have a picture of what your marketing strategy or link pyramid looks like?

Wouldn't it take forever to bookmark every single hub of my link pyramid 50 times?

You have multiple accounts at each bookmarking site? What is the benefit of having so many accounts?

Is it worth bookmarking the page on my site or just the hubs, if so, how many times?

I've been questioning whether high PR article sites are worth submitting articles to. Isn't ezineartices just 1 domain? So once you have an article there, each extra article will be on the same domain right? Doesn't google highly devalue all extra links to your site after the 1st one?

How is Reciprocal webmaster links a good use of time let alone one of the select few good links?

Once a Wordpress.com sites gets to 20 plus posts over 3 months or so..it's pretty much bulletproof.

So If I was a millionaire doing this, I would have multiple writers who would write 20 posts for me in 1 day and post them all when I make the site instead of waiting for 3 months then slowly add content to please google?

You seem to have tons of different business and websites running at the same time, yet you have 40 minutes to make a video? Don't people make videos for $5 on Fiverr?

BMW is for bookmarking? What is that and how is it different from BMD?

I've never bookmarked before, should I hire out the process or do it myself? Is there service that could make me a bunch of accounts? I don't see how I could make 1000 accounts myself. Cash on this forum uses autopligg, have you tried that? Do you know of a good article or manual that details the whole social bookmarking process you're talking about, or where did you learn all of this?

I understand doing electronicreviews.com if you're going ot review 50 electronic products. If you were only going to do 3, would it be better to do
www.electronicreviewshdtvnintendobluray.com as the domain name?

I buy emails 100 at a time from this site. Used to get Gmail (then that became harder) now buy yahoo. I have a few from Cpanel from my sites - but mostly just 5 or 6 dollars for a hundred from here on BHW

I have no clue what you are doing with all of these emails. What are they all for?

AMR compiles a list of successful articles (often hundreds), I then take that list and feed it into SLS or BMD or whatever. Plotting every single article would provide very little benefit and take huge chunks of time out where I could be doing something more constructive.

How do you feed it into the program, what does it do exactly once it's in?
What do you mean Plotting? Linking?

So you don't socially bookmark every article even once yet you socially bookmark the web 2.0's 50 times each?

wow great read. actually went through all the posts too. thanks for all the info!

Right a quick question or 3..

1. Im gonna give this a go.. i can pretty much figure out everything except for an example of youtube that links to a site... Can anyone show me an example.. A crumby one made with animoto would be perfect plz .. ??

2. For arguements sake.. i create a rather larget megatron of a wheel.. 6x2.0 x 6x into my money site.. When i get no1 for all my keywords .. (next year) :D can i swop out the money site and stick in another site of mine.. Im assuming i can reuse these or do i need to start again ? Does it have to be in the same nice.. etc

3. Literally how big can i make these .. 6x2.0 x 50 ?? Just creating 6x 2.0s every day linking into one another spammed to death by scapebox would create a pretty big wheel.. I mean.. how much is overkill ?

Cheers scritty baby thanks for the information post ive read it maybe 3 times now :D

Some people, on the other hand, have made diagrams to show how they do it, and you can easily just emulate their method -- modifying it as you see fit.

Graphical representations of this work very well...

ie: http://anonym.to/?http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/1301/nichedogseomethod.jpg

I know this is probably in bad form... but forgive me for my laziness: anybody have a new link for this picture?

If I remember correctly, the diagram was similar to this one:

Hey Scritty, I never got the answers to any of my questions above.

I think Scritty provided plenty of information with clear advice as to the why's and why nots. I think he's probably got better things to do than repeat himself over and over and spoon feed everybody.

Take action and do something. You'll learn more that way. But I'll answer some of your questions and I've only read Scritty's first post:

>> How would google know what email address I'm using when I sign up for web 2.0's?

They don't know. It's the web 2.0 sites. They block signups using free email's. So use your domains email address to sign up.

>> Why would I delete it after 3 months, how would that help?
Because it will end up getting lots of spam and you only created the email address to sign up for the web 2.0 and don't need it once you're accepted.

>> When you do link out from a web 2.0 is it always via the last paragraph in a resource box type fashion?

It will vary per web 2.0

>> How do I know which web 2.0's allow you to put multiple posts? I've never even submitted a web 2.0 manually, I just hired them out, and they were single spun articles. So I'm pretty confused on this process.

Go to the web 2.0 sites and find out.

>> Why does adding a video add value to the web 2.0 article?

It just does. Mix your articles up with images and video, looks more natural and the content is better.

>> Add a link to a youtube video or is there actual click here watch a video in your article? How do you add the video, and how does it help?

Try this on Google 'add video to blog post'. See what it comes up with. Or find a video on Youtube and use the share button to find the embedded link. load this in your article and the youtube video will load.

>> why do you write an article about "some fictional person and the sort of dumb stuff they get up to?"

I think you'll find that was about the bio page on the web 2.0 site you sign up to.

>> Do you have a picture of what your marketing strategy or link pyramid looks like?

BSB posted his which is great.

>> I've never bookmarked before, should I hire out the process or do it myself? Is there service that could make me a bunch of accounts? I don't see how I could make 1000 accounts myself.

Try onlywire.com, ping.fm sure there's more. Or use Fiverr.

That's enough from me. Your other questions I either didn't know what you were asking or didn't know the answer. Good luck with you endevours.

Thanks for that reply on my behalf - it's appreciated, and reading through it I agree with every response you've given.
Been busy all summer on a project (called "playing sport and chilling out" ahem) but back now for 6-7 months of building and working.

First things first. Need to check that the dynamics of what I do are all still intact.
Chances are some stuff has changed. Yeah I know Panda and Farmer and what-not. My sites did ok though.
Have quite a few bricks and mortar clients (I find I go la la if every job I do is just me sitting at this fecking desk all day)

My pointer for the day is... to get good links and traffic... Content creation still rules. (it probably always will)
