">> Why does adding a video add value to the web 2.0 article?
It just does. Mix your articles up with images and video, looks more natural and the content is better."
partly because the bounce rate gets better, people stay on the site to watch the video, so the bounce rate lowers, and your url looks better to google because people have stayed on their longer.

I think Scritty provided plenty of information with clear advice as to the why's and why nots. I think he's probably got better things to do than repeat himself over and over and spoon feed everybody.
Take action and do something. You'll learn more that way. But I'll answer some of your questions and I've only read Scritty's first post:
>> How would google know what email address I'm using when I sign up for web 2.0's?
They don't know. It's the web 2.0 sites. They block signups using free email's. So use your domains email address to sign up.
>> Why would I delete it after 3 months, how would that help?
Because it will end up getting lots of spam and you only created the email address to sign up for the web 2.0 and don't need it once you're accepted.
>> When you do link out from a web 2.0 is it always via the last paragraph in a resource box type fashion?
It will vary per web 2.0
>> How do I know which web 2.0's allow you to put multiple posts? I've never even submitted a web 2.0 manually, I just hired them out, and they were single spun articles. So I'm pretty confused on this process.
Go to the web 2.0 sites and find out.

>> Add a link to a youtube video or is there actual click here watch a video in your article? How do you add the video, and how does it help?
Try this on Google 'add video to blog post'. See what it comes up with. Or find a video on Youtube and use the share button to find the embedded link. load this in your article and the youtube video will load.
>> why do you write an article about "some fictional person and the sort of dumb stuff they get up to?"
I think you'll find that was about the bio page on the web 2.0 site you sign up to.
>> Do you have a picture of what your marketing strategy or link pyramid looks like?
BSB posted his which is great.
>> I've never bookmarked before, should I hire out the process or do it myself? Is there service that could make me a bunch of accounts? I don't see how I could make 1000 accounts myself.
Try onlywire.com, ping.fm sure there's more. Or use Fiverr.
That's enough from me. Your other questions I either didn't know what you were asking or didn't know the answer. Good luck with you endevours.
