[CASE STUDY] Adwords vs Bing Ads Media Buy - EXACT SAME ADS, SAME $$ AMOUNT etc.

Hi.
I am using Bing now, as I think Adwords is very tricky to get working, they dont allow direct linking to affiliate links and so.

When I send traffic to cpa and affiliate offers (direct linking) I ussually gets a ROI 1:4 with Bing. When I test campaigns I close the ones with negative ROI or less than 1:2. I just keep testing, closing the bad ones, keeping the good ones. In the countries I run campaigns the minimum bid is 1 cent, with a high quality score I sometimes pay les than 1 cent... This is awesome, and I cant loose.

Unless Bing doesnt let me direct linking some day. But so far no problem.
Hint: Buy some 100$ vouchers and open up to 5 accounts= $500 for you to test with!
Good luck

thanks for your post. concerning multiple accounts, what do we have to be careful about? You probably aren't allowed to have more than one account. Do I have to have a different IP, clear cookies, different (fake) address?

Is there a minimum amount you have to spend on ads before you can use the vouchers (like google, where you have to spend 25$ before you can use vouchers)???

Do VCC's work on bing ads? I heard google detects them and bans you. thanks

Can you have an optin popup on the main page? or will they ban you for this?

With the original study of this thread, how many hours of work did you put into both the Google and the Bing ad campaigns, and I guess included should be the time you put into creating the custom landing pages?
Sharing of this info will be appreciated.

I think it's very short period to make any desicions. My own experiens shows that conversion rate depends on amount of competitors then Adwords or Bing themself.
For me traffic from Bing is about 70% lower then I can take from Google.

guys its all about testing on Bing. as for op you can keep tweaking your ads to get to a 50% ctr lots of $$$$$$ to be made on Bing guys

1 or 2 sold products is so random.
Still, for $90, what's your ROI?

I understand that Google doesn't allow direct linking with an affiliate link, but what if you bought your own url and it redirected to the offer page? Same question applies to Bing.

Had you not made that extra sale on Bing you would have been in the red. Do you like with a lower priced item like a trail offer with a CPA company you would have had a higher conversion ratio or is it standard to have a 1%-3% conversion regardless of the product?

Ur idea of forwarding a domain will get caught by google..not worth it. As for bing it wud work.

Posted with TapaTalk cause I can't stay off this damn forum -- LOVE IT!

Redirecting offers only work if it complies with google's TOS and if it's shown on the destination URL.

Other than that, you will be banned if you break TOS.

Subscribed, Lately I've got into paid traffic stuff, love the people case studies.

Waiting for more progress.

Long time update ---

i ended up dropping Google ads for BING, the ROI was much better due to the lower CPC, and also high quality score.

im at roughly a 35% ROI - which is not bad on autopilot.

some ads direct link, some ads go to my landing page. I focus on mobile traffic.

i am measuring now the ROI diff from direct/to landing page.

Interesting. Ive been thinking about getting into bing. You say you can redirect and they dont catch on? Or would it be better to frame on your own domain
