Can't figure out Instagram...

So this is kind of a rant regarding Instagram. Got introduced to instagram and CPA in August 2016 ... Started with high hopes towards Instagram but it's so damn hard to grow your page. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong. Only got 2k followers.

There's so much contradiction:
Some say post 1-2 times a day. Others say post 7-10 times a day.
Some say engagement groups are the way to go. Others say they're bullshit.
Some say bots give you fake followers. Others say bots are being used by the best Instagram pages.
Some say don't do the follow/unfollow method. Others say it's the best way to grow especially in the beginning.

I just don't know what to do anymore.

I signed up to 3 telegram groups for likes and comments. I created 20 engagement circles (of 15 people) in Instagram. All to get on that damn explore page.. Sometimes it works, most of the times it don't because competition is so hard from all the bigger accounts.

I bought 3 e-books already and they all say the same thing. I bought a bot (followliker) wich I hardly understand + I still have to find a VPS for my macbook.

I'm in the quotes niche. It's oversaturated ofcourse but damn.. I'm currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to grow my insta and still I can't grow it as much as I like.

When I look on socialblade and see "millionaire_mentor" for example.. Everybody knows that guy .. He started somewhere in 2015 and he grew his account 50-80k PER MONTH... I just wonder how in the world did he do it...

I've only been focusing on one account at the moment to make the most out of it. Is that perhaps the thing I'm doing wrong?

You can't really be telling me you've got one account and are sad that it's going bad for you?

Setup, however-many accounts and test all the hypotheses that these so-called gurus tell you. Find another niche, try more engagement groups, get a VPS and FL set up. Try with 100 accounts, try with 1000 accounts. Read more journeys here, try buying shout outs.

My point is, no one can REALLy tell you what to do, you have to try it yourself.

Also:

Literally everything can be manipulated on Instagram. You just don't know wich accounts are legit...

When I do a shoutout for someone for example .. I could just do some telegram rounds likes and comments and his or her picture would "look" very popular.. You could buy a powerlike to get the picture featured etc.. You can manipulate everything.

You see all the time you have to take the average of the last 10 posts to get the average engagement rate of an account but when you see the telegram groups they go into the 1000+ ... Engagement is so easily faked.

I just don't get how some guys grow to 1M followers in one year. I just don't get it.

I just thought I'd put all my energy and focus into one account to make it big. My goal is to monetize an instagram account but wich niches are best to monetize? Luxury and quotes right? They're so over-saturated.. Ugh

Why are luxury and quotes the best to monetize?

Just because Sheep follow the shepherd doesn't mean that there will be food where he takes you.

you need to step back and evaluate what you are doing, focus on growing at least 1500 followers a month and see where it takes you.

1. start with a bot it gets you results and work on optimizing that bot so it gets you the 1500 followers month
2. see for yourself and what YOUR followers respond too post once or twice or up to 5 times a day. dont copy what others do and see what works for you!
3 growing that quick (mil in one year) take investment and you need the cash to back that up just ignore those pages.

Tell me about it. I'm in a JV right now so it's much easier, but if I started IG on my own it would be no different from you. People are usually all talk, though. Don't trust what those gurus are telling you. many of them will say "So and so has 2 million followers" I track that person down and they have at least 10x less than what they previously said.

It's all just ego boosting and puffing yourself up to seem important. You really think just because someone has a Jr. VIP subscription that they are making more than $1k per month? Very few people here are seriously successful. I mean the Fastlane kind of successful.

Keep at it and don't give up. Invest money in 100 more accounts and verify them using some cheap Chinese SIM cards that you can find online. Then set up something like Massplanner and 'spam' the crap out of everything.

Think of something that mobile users love more than anything and then do that. For example, one of the most popular mobile games is http://agar.io/ make several accounts centered around that or similar "casual" type games. Leave link to a CPA offer or some PPI in your bio and just let Massplanner update your profile twice a day every 12 hours or something.

I mean I started IG like a week ago and already know this much. You can figure it out, mate.

Welcome to Instagram. Almost everybody goes through what you are going through right now.

The successful ones makes changes when they realise something isnt working, fail 1000 times and then bam...they work it out. Just dont give up.

That appears to be the case. JV = Joint Venture. You work together with someone to speed up the process and utilize each other's skills for better results.

I generally use IFTTT for retweeting posts on Twitter. I don't know if it also works with IG, but you could try it out.
