I does read up a bit on duplicate content , which I happen to ask before if i remember yes , that is News site . If you see CNN, BBC , even other mainstream News site , their contents is Same , some even is duplicate , but of course got put the source.

Guess perhaps come to News , they have reporters all rush to get FIRST news first publish before fast than other new medias . This is why perhaps reporters you see some will go even aggressive , especially on celebrities get the first hand juicy news , information , publish first

Duplicate content will not give you the good support on ranking compared to unique handwritten article. so kindly make the new content with high keywords density for each and every page. it will really help you to improve your ranking with safely.

Ok, you can doubt, but my adsense was banned for this. So speak of your experience not just an opinion. Also google will treat large sites like CNN Fox differently than your blog.
No problems posting duplicate content to Facebook or twitter.
