When buying an expired domain does it have to be in the same industry or can it be from a different one if I cant find it from the same industry?

I cannot seem to find any decent expired domain at a reasonable price. Anyone would mind sharing websites where they have bought a good expired domain and used it to rank other websites?

Looking for especially for the law/attorney industry

Thanks
Rivers

Can be from a different industry

Expired domains are hard to find in public lists for obvious reasons, If you cannot scrape yourself, try to go for expiring domains, not cheap though but with patience you can find some gems

I would like to know some websites where I can scrape and find decent domains...can you share @All??

Im planning to buy a premium expired domain with a few quality backlinks. I just checked from archive.org that the domain was 301 redirected for 6 months before expiring.

Is the link juice still there? or has it been transferred to the directed domain?

301 redirects are completely harmless.

Yes it was transferred to the directed domain as long as the domain was redirected. Now you can register it back, publish an article about 500 words to the urls of the domain you later want to redirect. Just let the domain live for at least 15 days so google will find its old back links in 2 weeks. Then redirect it to your domain. This is the safe way I do use for mine sites. I hope it helps.

Whenever you buy a domain, you can do whatever you want with it. Not distorting people of course. But if you are doing a themed website with a different name, then by all means.

Can you guy share the websites you look for expired domains?

You might have to spend accordingly to get the desired domain.
